Casa Tranquilidad. Beautiful spacious family vacation home

Casa Tranquilidad is a peaceful, spacious, delightfully decorated family home set in a mature tropical garden, with a good sized heated pool. The house, garden and parking are fully enclosed to ensure privacy and complete security. On the main floor you will find a large open area which includes a comfortable living room with a pool table, games and sound system, a large dining table for indoor meals and a fully equipped adjacent kitchen as well as a full bathroom.The upper floor houses 3 double bedrooms (king, queen and 2 single beds) , a comfortable den with television and 2 full bathrooms. Only the master bedroom is equipped with AC.
The rental includes housekeeping, pool maintenance and gardener twice weekly.
For large rental parties, we have a recent addition, a delightful casita, full AC with King bedroom, ensuite bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable living area. The casita is on an adjoining lot and can be rented along with the main house if needed. Weekly rate for the casita is $900 cdn weekly

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful week at Casa Tranquilidad, a beautiful, comfortable and well-equipped house. The house is roomy, airy and decorated with a very tasteful eye to the local culture. Situated in beautiful gardens, the house and pool offer cool respite from the heat, without the need for AC (though it is available). Chayo and Rubi are easily at hand if you need anything and Alison, the host, was easily reached through email and very accommodating. On the other hand, we are not sure what you might want that isn't already in place. There are grocery and other shops within a block or two and it's a short walk into the centre of the village where there are a lot of good and great restaurants, more shops, access ocean and lagoon beaches, a scenic malecon etc. We loved both the house and the village of Barra de Navidad and are certain we will return to both.

We wandered into Barra de Navidad on Easter week 2002 to visit a friend who raved about his find. We were immediately smitten with the village, the people and the marvellous, charming house we discovered, ideal for us and our large family. Warm, welcoming, calm, private and peaceful. We have never once regretted our impulsive decision to buy on the spot!.
