We have been vacationing on this lake every summer for years with my family. My sister & I own the property and are opening up our north woods retreat for rental. We love and respect nature by maintaining the pristine lake and forest for our children and grandchildren.

Why they chose this property

My grandmother started vacationing on the North Arm of Burntside Lake in the 1930's and my family has been coming here ever since. We love escaping the hustle and bustle of the city and recharging our batteries in the Northwoods.

What makes this property unique

Extremely private lakefront property on Burntside Lake - a Top 10 lake in the entire state of Minnesota. A true off the grid vacation home perfect for reconnecting with your family. Enjoy an authentic Swedish wood burning sauna the old fashioned way (see property rules) and jump into cool deep water lake. Go fishing or swimming right off the docks or small sand beach. Explore the over 5000 acre lake by canoeing (included) or kayaking (included) to one of the 100's of uninhabited islands for a picnic lunch. A sandy beach is just a 2 min boat ride or kayak ride away from the cabin! Bring your own motor boat and launch it just 2 min from the cabin. (within hundreds of yards by the Slim Lake portage)

Our A-Frame is a rare opportunity to stay in a classic cabin with no neighbors in sight. Why camp in the Boundary Waters when you can stay here (with a hot shower & full kitchen with high speed internet and HVAC?) and be in Ely in 30 minutes?
