****Subject to weather conditions, our late spring and early fall offerings include one kayak, one canoe, and two paddle boards, all at your disposal for maximum enjoyment with the property! Explore the outdoors with our seasonal amenities! Before using any watercraft, please note that a waiver must be signed. For summer fun, we offer Cornhole, Disc Golf, Croquet, Bocce Ball, a Pickleball net for driveway use, Ladder Toss, and Badminton. All these activities are subject to weather conditions and are designed to enhance your experience on the property.





Please note, due to our property's layout, carrying these items to the dock via the deck path may require 2-3 people due to their weight. After use, kindly return them to the garage for storage. Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities, so please exercise caution and ensure proper handling of the watercraft at all times.



Guest Access:

Feel at home with full access to the entire cabin, private walkway to the lake, and the inviting dock. Explore the outdoors with our seasonal amenities! During late spring and early fall, take advantage of one kayak, one canoe, and two paddle boards for your enjoyment. Before using any watercraft, please note that a waiver must be signed. For summer fun, we offer Cornhole, Disc Golf, Bocce Ball, Ladder Toss, and Badminton. All these activities are subject to weather conditions and are designed to enhance your experience on the property.



The Neighborhood:

The Retreats has everything for a memorable vacation in the North Woods. Only minutes from dining and shopping in downtown Ely. Hike to Kawishiwi Falls. One of the most unique beers in Ely is the Blueberry Blonde available at the Boathouse Brepub. Hands down the number one recommendation I received for Ely was a meal at Insula. The Chocolate Moose is a great breakfast stop with a nice outdoor patio space.



Getting Around:

Property is in private pristine Boundary Waters Forest with great views. The International Wolf Center in Ely is a great place to learn about the history of wolves and how they’ve continued to evolve as humans have coexisted in their living areas.



Other Things to Note:

We are dog friendly. We allow for 2 dogs per reservation. To ensure a pleasant stay for all our guests and maintain our property in excellent condition, we have a few guidelines for pet stays:



Pet Fee: $35 per night, per pet requested through booking platform after reservation is confirmed, will be an additional charge requested.



To ensure the safety of both our guests and the security of our residence, we have strategically positioned external surveillance cameras around the perimeter of our home.



Amenity Disclosure

Please note that while our property may offer access to amenities such as watercraft (canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boats, etc.) their availability and functionality are not guaranteed. These items are provided as complimentary amenities for guest use when in working order.



We do not provide compensation, discounts, or refunds in the event that any amenity (including but not limited to other recreational equipment) is unavailable, out of service, or not functioning during your stay.



All amenities are used at your own risk, and guests are responsible for following all safety guidelines.



No Parties or Gatherings

Family gatherings, parties, or any events are not permitted. Only the guests listed on the reservation are allowed on the property. Violations will result in a $50 per person fee per day or a minimum charge of $1,000, whichever is greater.
