About this property

The Window - A Desert Bungalow

We call this bungalow "The Window" because of its view of the Catalina Mountains.

It is a cozy guesthouse located next to our home. It's a private space that has all the upgrades you are looking for in a comfortable and cozy space - granite counter tops, hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, a flat screen TV, and over-sized windows to enjoy the desert scenery and mountain views.

The space
The veranda is easily the best spot on our property; there's plenty of seating and a fire pit to enjoy a perfect evening (with wine or cookies or both).

The kitchen comes equipped with everything you need to enjoy a meal at home including dinnerware, silverware, pots/pans, and utensils. The living room/sitting area has plenty of space and includes a flat screen TV on which you can use your Netflix, Amazon, Prime, and YouTube accounts. Finally, the bedroom (with a queen-sized bed) is located off the kitchen, and it comes with a full bathroom.

There is private parking next to the property. There is no washer/dryer on the property. Nearby, there is fine dining, shopping, golf and resorts, biking, and hiking.

Or, you can just stay home and relax on the outdoor covered patio by the fire.

If you are are looking for some quiet time surrounded by nature and comfortable amenities, this is the perfect home for you.

Quiet retreat with breathtaking view

My husband and I stayed at The Window for four nights, for a half business/half vacation stay. The casita was immaculate and very comfortable… everything we needed was there, including a breathtaking view and a perfectly placed gas fire pit (perfect for an evening unwinding). We didn’t have to ask for anything at all! The location is excellent — close to restaurants, trailheads, etc. We’d stay again in a heartbeat!
