The Main Level features the kitchen, living room, screened in garden facing Lanai, full sized washer + full sized dryer + half bath.
Second level includes a LUXURY, newly remodeled (Dec. 2021) master bathroom, directly off the master bedroom for privacy. Here no expense was spared in furnishing it with porcelain / marble tiles and countertops and brushed-nickel fixtures. The walk-in shower has a luxurious spa-stone floor and is spacious enough for two. All lights are on dimmers to furnish a romantic mood.
The master bedroom features a king bed, generously sized walk-in master closet with built-in shelves and drawers, and a 4k Roku Smart TV.
Guest bedroom features luxurious JW Marriott signature mattress, closet space and a full bath with tub + shower off the hallway.
A recently resurfaced outdoor heated pool is mere steps from your vacation home. Featuring a tiki hut, reclining chairs for sunbathing, a brand new gas grill and a beautiful newly re-surfaced patio for your enjoyment. Soak in the sun in the afternoon, enjoy your happy hour under the tiki cabana and grill up some of our local seafood on the grill for dinner.
After hours, take a 5 minute walk to the waterfront Esplanade for ice cream, people watching and some star gazing.
Rent bicycles nearby and the beach and nature trails will be within 8-10 minutes of the unit.

Major Advantages of Staying at Sand Star Villas
Many Marco Island rental units are in large, crowded, multi-level condominium developments where units are stacked on top of one another and you can hear your neighbors on all sides. At Sand Star Villas, there are only 21 units arranged in two townhouse rows; no neighbors above or below you -- only to either size with cinderblock firewalls separating the units. The community is exceptionally quiet and is virtually never fully occupied, even during high season.
Many condominium developments on the island require you to park in a parking garage and walk a very long way, upstairs, by elevator and around past other units to reach your unit. At Sand Star Villas, you park directly in front of the unit and within 8-10 steps are comfortably inside the unit.

Born and raised in Washington, D.C., I am a former diplomat and businessman who spent the better part of 10 years living and working abroad. I have been a part-time resident of Marco Island since returning to the U.S. in 2016. My parents are retired and live full time on the island, just down the street from my property.
Why they chose this property
Our street is one of the prettiest on Marco Island, lined with low-rise condominium buildings with sidewalks on either side. Easy access to parks, walk to around 2 dozen bars and restaurants (within 10-15 minutes on foot)
What makes this property unique
Sand Star Villas is quiet and offers privacy as well as a lovely communal pool area, it is easily accessible to the entire island, with many places accessible by foot or on bicycle.
