Professionally managed by Beach Habitats 30a, this spacious 3,600 square feet home in Carillon Beach is ideal for families and for making memories on the beautiful Emerald Coast beach. A high-end luxury home designed by Dungan Nequette in Birmingham, this home is the perfect size and layout for family gatherings with several entertainment/sitting areas and a large kitchen. Relax on the screened-in porch overlooking a large grass backyard and Lake Carillon. Conveniently located to the beach (a 3–4-minute walk), swimming pools, tennis, pickle, and basketball courts, and playground, Sittin’ Purdy is also adjacent to The Meeting House, Downtown Carillon and the Village Green.

A new favorite vacation spot

We loved everything about our stay! It was fully stocked with everything we needed to vacation there for a week with kids! It was a great location, and just beautiful! Great set up for three families. We will be back soon!!

“We came back a second time”

So nice to have a house big enough for 14 last year and 16 this year. Very comfortable, cheery spaces, and additional helpful amenities like towels and beach gear. Perfect with few exceptions; back door lock failed during stay but had helpful phone assistance; could have used another refrigerator; porch fans had one speed, slow; sprinklers ran every evening leaving backyard unusable at end of the day and bushes blocked lake view; sofa sleeper mattress very uncomfortable, its sheets were hidden; can’t read microwave, display not bright. None of these would keep us away next time. We had an enjoyable trip.

Sittin’ Purdy was perfect!

Amazing weekend for my daughter’s wedding in Carillon! Sittin’ Purdy was the PERFECT location and size for our large family to all be together to celebrate! The large kitchen and spacious, open floor plan made visiting together so fun and enjoyable yet everyone could retreat to their own space for down time. The screened porch and backyard added another dimension of entertaining space - especially for the kids! Overall, I don’t think we could have chosen a better place! I do recommend a golf cart for getting to and from the beach - especially with young kids! While it’s an easy, breezy walk…the little ones enjoyed the ride and we enjoyed tooling around the neighborhood checking out all the beautiful homes and not having to lug all the beach paraphernalia.

Best Family Beach Experience

My family and I have been going to Carillon Beach for twelve years now and we've stayed in several different homes through the years. This is the first year we were not beachfront and it was honestly the best. The owners have put such love and care into the home and you feel like they want to share that with you. And the property manager is nearby and is very warm and helpful. Everything has been thought of and prepared for your family. The home is so spacious and stunning. We had six kids who adored sleeping together in their own hang out -and playing in backyard. And the bedrooms and baths for adults were just gorgeous. We felt like we had two vacations in one -our yearly beach excursion combined with a tranquil and restful getaway. I definitely recommend Sittin' Purdy, but I'd like first dibs when we book again!!

The perfect beach vacation!

Sittin Purdy was the most perfect beach house for our group of 15. We had 3 families staying together and there was plenty of space for everyone to either be together or split off in smaller groups. The porch and flat grassy backyard were favorite spots for all. Upstairs is a great spot for kids with a bunk room and 2 separate bedrooms off of main room. The owners are so thoughtful with all of the tips they leave in their guest book and extra supplies if you forgot something as well as fun games, books and beach toys. The kitchen is stocked with all you need (even those spices you always forget to bring!) and there was great seating at a long farm table and at kitchen island. The house was immaculate while still inviting and warm. House is located right next to Carillon Town Center so just steps away from ice cream and a short walk to beach and 2 different pools. We could not have been happier and cannot wait to go back!

Perfect vacation home!

Sittin' Purdy is by far the most perfect home for a family vacation. The house is not only beautiful but also welcoming and comfortable for the whole family. Our group included adults and grandchildren ranging in age from 21 years to 3 months. Everyone agreed that this was the home for us and we have already booked for next year. We especially enjoyed the huge backyard (enjoyed the concert on the green without leaving our own backyard) and the wonderful screened porch. Easy access to the beach, pools and village only added to the perfection. The home is the most well equipped I've ever rented and we have been going to the beach every summer for over 30 years. Carillon is by far the greatest community for a family vacation and Sittin' Purdy the perfect home! Karen Sandel, the manager, is the best! She was so helpful and caring. She truly wanted to make sure that we had everything we needed to ensure our comfort. We so appreciated the attention she gave us and look forward to visiting her next year.

Fall Break

We really enjoy the yard for soccer, badminton, goofing around. We also like being close to the shops for ice cream, pizza etc. The beach is a close walk and the SP chairs are directly in front of the stairs (very nice). Minor issues: -there is some sort of generator in between the house and the Meeting House that runs 24/7. You can't hear it in the house but it's a low level hum outside. -we could not get the TVs in the bedrooms to connect to the internet. The management company said they were sending someone out to take a look but that did not happen. Neither of these things was a big deal and we would 100% stay here again. It's a great house.

Favorite Carillon Beach House

We loved this house! The kitchen is well stocked and the house was very clean. It is very kid friendly especially for our 6 grandchildren ages infant to 5 years. ( baby gates, pack n play, toddler cups, bowls and plates, toys, etc…) The layout of this house was perfect for our family and we have stayed in several great houses in Carillon. One of our favorite features was the ice maker. Crushed ice at the beach was so good! We loved everything about this house! It felt like home!

Sittin Purdy had us doing just that!

There was plenty of room for the 14 of us. The house provided many areas for “catching up” on each family’s news. The screened porch was popular as well as the lovely sunroom extension off the living area where we set up a puzzle to work on during a few rainy hours. The large dining table was perfect for dinners next to the roomy kitchen with ample counter space for food serving. Loved the bricked laundry room with space for everything needed for the beach. A very comfortable house!

We ate in for the majority of our meals and the chef's Kitchen was a dream. Wolf appliances are now on my "wish list". The mud room was a genius idea, and it was so well equipped with everything from beach towels, boogie boards, sand toys, coolers, straw beach hats, and even a wagon to haul it all in. These are all items that we usually have to purchase and leave behind because we're flying. The large back yard was a great perk for our evening of yard games, they even supplied a corn hole game. We appreciated the sonic ice machine too! You can tell that lots of planning went into the details of this home. We look forward to returning to Sittin'Purdy!

Sittin Purdy is a beautifully appointed home, perfect for entertaining, large enough for a family to spread out and relax, play games in the back yard, or sitting quietly on the back porch with beautiful views of the lake. We also love Carillon Beach, rental of golf carts is easy, the beach is private and easy to access, and several pools to choose from. We will definitely be back!
