Walking on Sunshine - your ideal 30A beach escape! This newly updated main home boasts 4 bedrooms, while a separate 2-bedroom carriage house offers extra space. With room for 14 guests and private bathrooms in each bedroom, comfort and convenience abound. Your perfect beach getaway awaits!

Main House:
Feel immediately welcomed by the open concept living area and spacious kitchen. The dining area has seating for 8 plus seating for 5 more at the bar. Step onto large patio with outdoor dining table and private pool surrounded by palm trees. This is a great place to enjoy dinner al fresco on a beautiful Florida evening. Cook the family's favorites on the gas grill while the kids play in the private splash pool.

The 2nd floor welcomes you with floor-to-ceiling windows offering glimpses of the Gulf waters. Here you’ll find a comfortable family room with TV and Xbox One plus an additional balcony with seating. The remaining 3 bedrooms plus the laundry area are on this level.

Carriage House:
This carriage house has 2 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The 1st floor is separate from the 2nd floor and has its own entrance. This area features a twin day bed with trundle, Smart TV, and Xbox 360 with games, and is perfect for teens or young adults who enjoy having their own space, as the 2 floors are not connected. A washer and dryer is also on this floor.

On the 2nd Floor you’ll find a king bedroom with TV plus a living area. In the living area is also a sofa that pulls out to a full bed. Enjoy preparing your meals in the fully equipped kitchen.

Carillon Beach:
Carillon Beach is a gated upscale beachside village between Inlet Beach & Panama City Beach. Walk along the promenade to the town area which includes a chapel nestled in the trees by Lake Carillon plus restaurants and shopping. There are tennis and pickle ball courts as well. Paved roads and sidewalks create a safe place for kids to ride bikes and walk to activities. Bicycles are available for rent at Carillon Village.

Your stay at Walking on Sunshine comes with Xplorie’s best activities! Tee off at Emerald Bay or Regatta Bay, zip through Baytowne Adventure Zone, and sail on the Sea Blaster Dolphin Cruise. Enjoy Big Kahuna’s Water Park, Black Light Mini Golf, and scenic bike rides with complimentary rentals. Explore 30A with ease and adventure!

Each bathroom has toilet paper, facial and bath soaps, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Towels include one body towel and washcloth per guest, plus two hand towels per bathroom.

Family Beach Vacation

Great location to beach…the house met all our needs for 7adults and 2 kids. Bed’s were firm but comfortable. Communication with Benchmark was easy and quick to respond. Although we weren’t informed of furniture being delivered fortunately one of us happen to be at the house.

Perfect vacation house only steps from the beach

We spent one week with two families in this wonderful and well equipped house. Lots of space to sit inside and on the porches. Cute little pool invited to sit and sip. We went every day to the beach, only a minute walk away. There are four sun benches on the beach with umbrellas which belong to the house. We had a blast together and enjoyed a perfect week! The communication with the vacation manager went very well.

Ok stay

Beautiful neighborhood close to a private beach. The house was clean and nice. One of the bedrooms was very small with a trundle bed with a separate entrance which we didn’t realize. Refrigerator ice and water didn’t work and poor internet/tv streaming. Amenities were nice-pool, pickleball, etc. However, there was a very rude person at the pickleball area that seemed unwelcoming.

Family Fun

We had a great time. The house was beautiful, location was great. Benchmark, the rental company was not as good. We had a terrible time communicating with them. We had issues with the carriage house upon arrival. They never called us back or fixed the issue. Terrible time trying to get parking passes. Everyone we encountered within Carillon said Benchmark was the worse to deal with. We will be back to Carillon, love the area, just wont be using Benchmark again.

An issue with the air conditioner was fixed promptly on the day we arrived. The only issue we had was there only being three parking passes for a six bedroom home. We had five adult couples with five cars so it was inconvenient to park two cars offsite. Also, the carriage house upper and lower floors smelled musty. Overall it was a great trip! We love the Carillon Beach community and walked for ice cream and pizza.The house is just a few steps from the beach walkover and there is an ocean view from the upstairs balcony!

The majority of the neighborhood is under construction which is noted but significant in nearly every part of the neighborhood. The knowledge of the management company about specifics at the property is limited and not entirely accurate. Staff is responsive and polite despite this.

Needs new management company

Overall the property was beautiful! It has a great location steps from the beach. It’s really close to one of the walkovers and the beaches were so nice and we felt like the area was not crowded at all. We have stayed all through 30A and this is the first time that we had no crowds like the 30A beaches. That was so nice! They have pools throughout the hood that we visited and we all went to play tennis and pickball every night. And my son played basketball everyday on their full length court. You can not beat the amenities!!! The neighborhood is beautiful and we felt like everything was walkable. The downfall was as soon as we checked in we tried to access the 6th bedroom but the check in process was not explained well and we didn’t know we needed to find a hidden key that was inside of a lock that had a code they never gave to us. When we finally got a hold of someone to get the code, the key was not inside of the lock box. So my son and his friend had to sleep on a tiny pull out couch. We asked for a partial credit for the first night for this inconvenience and they still have not reviewed our request or reached out to us in a month. Also when we went to our beach chairs everyday that are included in the stay-3 of the 6 days we were there they had not laid out cushions or umbrellas and so we would have to call and wait a few hours to get them to bring them. Benchmark was disappointing to work with. I feel for the homeowner bc I know it’s not their fault.

Wonderful Home for Ten!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our favorite home to stay at Carillon Beach. It's close to the ocean, it's beautifully appointed and it has plenty of room. We particularly like that it has two living areas. The children and adults love relaxing in the pool. We will be back!
