"The BIG EASY is as timeless and fun as its name suggests. From the stunning Gulf views on every level to the Gulf-front pool, this home sets the scene for your best vacation ever. With 7 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms, this gulf-front vacation home accommodates 24. An elevator ensures easy access to all levels and 2 extra wide-screened porches make sure you have a front-row seat for the daily dolphin runs.

To assist in your adventure at Big Easy, your reservation includes $400 worth of adventure gear rental, delivery fee may apply. Whether your adventure is sitting under an umbrella on the white-sandy beaches, biking, or fishing from a kayak in the Bay, this $400 credit towards your vacation gear rental will ensure you have the adventure you seek. You will be able to shop for bikes, paddle boards, kayaks, beach chairs, umbrellas, or even beach carts. No need to find the rental company, your gear will be delivered to your beach house and will be waiting for your arrival.

Big Easy has easy access to the 8-mile Logger Head Walk/Bike Path, so those wanting to get their steps in while on vacation have no excuse.

Bringing a Pet or want Pool Heat? That can be arranged for additional fees (please note that pool heat will only raise the water temperature 10 degrees above the outside temperature). Please check with us on size and number limits for pets. No events over the occupancy of the house are allowed or that require a chaperone, and we strictly adhere to a minimum age limit for renters.

*The elevator is residential grade and may occasionally experience disruptions. Our staff will do all we can to repair any issues and get the elevator functional again. However, if an elevator repair tech/Company is needed repair times can extend several days due to our remote location. If you have someone in your party with mobility issues please plan accordingly.

Great family trip to Florida

Lovely house for a large family

Fantastic was the overall size, the lovely pool, the dining table was large, sectional for almost all, great kitchen, great screened porch, and overall functionality! In need of: a 2nd refrigerator, better 2-porch furniture, a private boardwalk, much more towels and holders, sink light.

Scallop squad trip

Great house and location. Very accommodating for our group of 6 couples. We loved having a pool and going to the beach. Open floor plan was never crowded with our large group. Things the house needs to make it even better - more kitchen towels, more than one set of towels per person, mixing bowls, cocktail shaker, larger towel racks in each bathroom, fix all of the bathroom barn doors since they did not close, provide at least one multi purpose cleaner. Pool area has a spot that needs to be repaired on the decking as it could be a hazard. Overall we loved the house and will be looking at booking it again next year.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was beautiful on south cape San blas but for a new build it was lacking in the details, only one small towel rack in masters , no chairs on one of the master bedroom balcony to relax(made no sense to me), barn doors in some of the rooms kept coming off track, no cleaning supplies or broom in house, no spices of any kind and having to fly things got expensive to stock.The owner needs to step up his game if he want to rent his place!We did have 2 major issues with the place , 1st the elevator was not working when we arrived and my elderly sister has a very hard time walking so needless to say I was not happy. The other issue was the internet, one of the guests had to work so that was a big problem as well.I called cape and coast and the issues where resolved within 2 days.The staff and maintenance People at cape and coast did a great job resolving those problems as soon as possible.I also wanted to say a big thank you to the elevator person( I think his name was Jason?), he was so kind and did everything to get that elevator fixed!!!This is the first time I used cape and coast rentals, I normally use VRBO but I saved about $1000, so I gave it a chance.It certainly is different because you don’t have the owners involved in any issues, but I would certainly consider cape and coast for the next trip to the cape.Marianne

I will say the boardwalk and knowing which one to use was a little confusing because there was a path to a boardwalk that we found out on Thursday was private. Other than that our week was great. The beach was perfect for the kids as was the pool. We caught fish from the beach and enjoyed hunting scallops in the bay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family enjoyed the lovely new construction so close to the beach! The design, layout, decor, and furnishings were perfect for our group of 8 adults and 11 kids. The pool with plenty of shade and screened-in porch overlooking the beach were thoroughly enjoyed. All bedrooms with ensuite bath was a huge plus and a nice supply of hangers in closets a thoughtful touch. We rented 2 umbrellas and 4 bikes and used them often for riding down to the bend in the cape to collect shells at low tide. Lovely quiet family-friendly area. We spent most of our time on the beach or in the pool or cooking/eating in the well-stocked kitchen/dining area. Some people took an excursion to cute fishing/shopping village, Apalachicola. Would definitely recommend to a friend. Some suggestions: the cleaning crew was not finished upon check-in time and when they were an hour or more later, it did not feel fully cleaned (sand in sheets) and there weren't enough towels; the sliding bathroom door in main floor (west) bedroom would not stay closed, and there was water damage on the shower ceiling; bathrooms need towel hooks or racks; privacy latches on bathroom doors; sink hardware in upstairs master loose/leaking; more dishtowels; more doormats in and outside of main door to catch/keep sand from getting in house; the outer elevator doors swing open while closing the inner door, and it's dangerous to reach through to hold the outer door until the elevator starts moving and it finally latches.
