You HAVE arrived when you stay at Destination-OBX! This 8 bedroom, 6 bath home is your perfect destination for your extended-family beach vacation! We rent Saturday to Saturday in prime weeks and 4 night min in the shoulder seasons. Completely renovated in 2021, this sparkling clean home is a 1 minute walk to the beach access. The beach here at MM17.5 is lifeguarded and wide open. This beach access is one of the best in OBX with separate men's and women's bathrooms, running water and outside showers. When back at the house your family can enjoy a view of the ocean and wide open views of the surrounding neighborhood from the top (covered) deck while sitting in the ample deck furniture. Or perhaps spend time playing in the pool or relaxing in the hot tub. For those seeking some quiet time, the front porch swing is an inviting spot to listen to the sounds of the ocean.

Since purchasing our home in 2020, we have been busy remodeling this home. We do something new every year! To date the whole home has new luxury vinyl flooring and has been painted top to bottom including the trim! The kitchen was updated with white cabinets and solid surface countertops. In 2022 we continued to add new deck furniture, upgraded the basement kitchen, resurfaced the pool table, and a cover to the front porch and installed a new roof! 2025 brought new pool furniture and a new hot tub!

Ground floor: Keyless entrance, game room with pool table and foosball table, mini kitchen with sink, refrigerator, microwave, seating area, smart TV. Access to hot tub and private pool through back door and gated fence. King bedroom (#6) with shared full bathroom, pyramid bunk room (#7) has a twin over a queen size bed and a trundle underneath. Bedroom #8 has 2 sets of bunk beds. Outside storage area with ample supply of beach chairs of all shapes and sizes. (If you are bringing bikes, there is enough room to store them in this recently built shed. A tarp is provided to help keep them dry.)Two beach bikes will be provided. Bring your own helmets and ride at your own risk.

2nd level: Hall way access to front deck with Nags Head Hammock swing and Adirondack chairs. Bedroom #5, front of house, 2 twin beds connected to shared full bath with King Bedroom #4. At the back of the house 2 identical King Master bedrooms #1 & #2, each have a king bed, private bathroom, and sliding glass door access to the back deck over-looking pool. Hallway laundry room with washer and dryer. Bedroom #3 - King bed, private bathroom, desk.

3rd level - Huge great room with 2 sectional couches, 2 dinning tables, large upgraded kitchen, smart TV. Ample seating around the bar height counters. Access to covered front deck with ocean views, adirondack chairs (cup holders slide out of arms:-)), and back deck with shaded outdoor couch and gas grill overlooking the pool and parkland.

Destination-OBX is located along the 11 mile paved path for walking jogging and biking. Don't forget your bikes!

There are 3 desks on hand throughout the home for remote work/education if needed.

The house will be cleaned before your arrival. All beds will be made with freshly laundered sheets. Set of bath towels, bath mats will be provided for all guests and bathrooms.
