With the adjacent vacant lot, the entire property is fenced in for added privacy . Since this home is equipped with an expensive radiant heating system for the winter, central air is not an option, however we provide A/C in master bedroom and a portable swamp cooler (located in master bedroom closet: just fill w/ water and turn on) to cool down the upstairs (there are ceiling fans in most rooms). The home cools down quickly via cross ventilation/A/C + swamp cooler during the hottest days of July.

Perfect spot for family gathering!

We came together from three states and everyone gave this property, as well as Pagosa Springs, two thumbs up. This beautiful home comes with amenities and supplies you don't get in other rental properties. Its located close to town and a short drive to Wolf Creek ski resort. Highly recommend Paradise in the Pines!!

Nice Short Stay

We only stayed three nights but had a great time in PS. The heated floors were a nice bonus but the living & dining areas were dimly lit after sunset. We actually didn’t use the kitchen...since we skiied each day, we basically only showered and slept at the house. There were soooo many instructions. I pay attention to details so I read everything that was emailed/left/posted. Everything was just as stated in the ad and our deposit was returned promptly. I called the owner with a question and was able to reach her with no problem. Recommend this home if you’re looking in PS.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the heads up-please note that the dining room has a "dimmer light switch" and the 5 bulbs in the antler fixture (above the dining table) provide a very bright effect when set on the highest setting. We are bringing a new reading light for the living room next time we go to the house & will evaluate all the lighting in the main area. Regards Jim

Good location, quiet neighborhood and nice property!

It's the little things! We so much appreciated all of the "little things" that this property has to offer. From the kitchen appliances and spices to the toiletries that were available for guest use. We enjoyed our stay with the comfortable house and amazing scenery! Would definitely recommend this property!

Great house for Thanksgiving!

Thanks for letting us stay at your home over Thanksgiving. We were able to have two families at the table for dinner. The kitchen was great as my daughter’s partner is a chef and he had everything he needed to put on a great meal. Thanks for such a great place for family. What would make your guest experience better would be better lighting in the living room. I’m a reader not much TV person so I’m bias. There was some confusion between house manual and the back of door instructions. The conflict was about starting the bed linens or not. My daughter and her partner left a day early so I did their bed linens and folded and put them on the downstairs queen bed. I started the master’s bed linens and put them in the dryer. Hope this is what you wanted.

Great Property would stay again.

This house is very comfortable, very quiet neighborhood with lots of pines. Sitting on the small balcony with coffee and watching the deer every day was wonderful. And the large fenced yard was great for our dogs. It's so nice that they share their cozy vacation home with others.
