Shipp House- Monthly Rental, Quiet neighborhood, Safe, Near Beach

We are following CDC cleaning guidelines. Our house is in sleepy Waveland, Mississippi, Approximately one mile from the beach, but located close to stores. Enjoy the Coastal weather on the front porch or the fenced backyard for your privacy. The home has an open concert feel; includes a large living room/dining room, 3 bedrooms, 4 beds, 2 baths one with a tub. The kitchen has a stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher and includes cooking utensils and a bars style counter top. We have exterior door bell cameras for the protection of the property. No smoking, No parties or gatherings. Must abide by our quiet hours 10 pm till 8 am.... we also have noise monitors inside the property.

Our cleaning staff follows CDC guidelines, you not share spaces with others, nor will you share AC with other like a large hotel! We love our little home! It works as a get away from our busy lives, we hope it will be the same for you! You have full access of the full house and yard. Couples and families love our serine location for the quiet, private, relaxing, charming and convenient experience!


We won't be available in person. We give our guests space but only available by VRBO texting.

-Cancel For Any Reason Coverage (CFAR) insurance is highly recommended for all longer summer vacations or travel during storm seasons in our area. It is your responsibility to take out this kind of insurance for any travel, as we have a no cancellation policy.

-We have TVs with Wi-Fi access. You can use your Netflix, Amazon Prime or other steaming services with your personal password. There is also an antenna for local channels.

- Free SLING account included to view many channels including Gulf Coast and New Orleans News.

- We have a NEST thermostat that is simple to operate. All you have to do is to twist left or right to control the temperature for your comfort.

- We have a NEST doorbell with video features for your protection. this system is external ONLY, and no audio or video is recorded inside the vacation rental.

- In the living room there is a queen size foldout couch. We do not provide linens, pillows or towels for the fold out and do charge a $75 per night for any guests over 6 registered.

***Note: Shipp house is situated in a subtropical region. Ants and roaches are endemic to this region of the country. We fumigate regularly and clean to insure the House is clean of anything that will attract these bugs. For that reason, we ask for your cooperation while you stay with us. Eat in the designated eating area and clean up any crumbs. Do NOT leave any food in the open on counters or shelves. Place them in containers or in the freezer. Also, place the garbage out I. The large container frequently to prevent bugs from having a reason to enter the property. We encourage you to keep the doors closed at night to prevent bugs from coming into the house. If you get a multi legged visitor, use the bug spray under the kitchen cabinet and let us know where you spotted one and if it was alive.

There are other options at hotel pools and the state park when open.
