Southwinds G9 Great Ocean Views

Southwinds G09 is a non-smoking 2 bedroom/2 bath condo located on the 2nd floor. Unit is almost oceanfront with views of the ocean. The condo has a full size kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven and blender. A washer and dryer are also located in the condo. There is wireless internet, 2 TVs (one in the living room and one in the main bedroom). The main bedroom has a queen size bed. The second bedroom has 2 twin size beds. Southwinds does not allow renters to have pets. This unit is available for weekly and partial weeks with a 2 night-minimum stay. Please contact for rates on partial weeks. Rates include departure maid service and admin fee. Linens and trip insurance are optional and available for additional costs. Tax is 12.75%.

Quite get away

Weekend getaway

Spent the weekend here. Was a very nice location right next to Ft. Macon and only steps away from 2 pools and the beach.

Cute, clean unit with great ocean views.

We came down from W-S for a mini-vacay with our son before he heads off to ECU. Great views of the water, the beach is wide and extremely walkable. The complex was quiet and everything functioned week in the condo unit. The beds were comfortable.

Amazing Condo!

This condo was perfect! Not only was it clean, it was also conveniently located in Atlantic Beach and the beach was never crowded. Cannot wait to return next year!

2023 VACATION

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love coming to Atlantic Beach and to Southwinds, we have been coming for 18-20 years now, however, this year there were a lot of issues. First, I understand there was a new internet service brought in, the entire visit we could not make out going calls and receiving calls were sporadic. The internet was another subject, sometimes we could get connected and sometimes we could not, we had to go to TMobile to get a "Hotspot" box to connect to our carrier which that didn't work some of the time. I eeded the internet to keep up my emails and conversations at work, sometimes I had to go to a coffee shop to accomomplish this. The condo needs some deep cleaning and replacing some items, the rugs are old and worn, I actually had to wash two of them when I got there because they were so stained and dirty. The couch and the chair in the living room, they really need to replace or reupholster the cushions they have seen better days and the stains on the dining room chairs are very unsightly and dirty and need replaced or shampooed. Like I said, we love our time at Southwinds and G9 and working with Surfside Realty, but for the price we paid, it really needs some TLC.

Beach Getaway

This was a wonderful location for our summer vacation. Just steps from the beach, which was never crowded and within walking distance of the nearby historic Fort Macon, with trails and overlooks. The rooms were clean with a cute beach theme throughout. And the surrounding property was well-kept, including the walkways and pools. Great choice for a beach getaway!
