Wonderful modern apartment with everything we needed
Really lovely modern apartment. Fantastic host always available communication wise. Short walk into town centre.
Please budget for an extra EUR35 per person linens charge (includes bed sheets, towels, and kitchen tea towel).
To help find the chalet apartment it's the 2nd driveway on the right as you walk up the slope Les Granges. Look for signs that say 'Les Granges de Chery', and there's a number 68 above the garage door. Entrance door is on the right hand side of the building.
Closest bus stop is Les Clos. We used Alpine Fleet shared transfer service who were fantastic.
Try to avoid carrying your ski/snowboard kit around. Most hire shops will let you store your hired kit (and some owned by you if you have hired bits) in their stores overnight saving you carrying everything back and forth. There are lockers by the Chavannes lift but these are limited and need booking in advance online.
Lovely little bakery nearby, L'Epi Getois, best value compared to further in the centre.
We enjoyed a dinner out at Le Bommerang, great kids menu, recommend.
ESF ski school were also fantastic. Bear i mind due to reduced snow, they'll likley take the kids up the mountain to special children's areas so will need lift passes. Les Petits it's called. Do budget for this when planning.
This 2024 season there's been low snow everywhere. Les Gets are managing this well keeping the lower runs open. Much better up the mountain, and we toured to Avoriaz for a day too.
