Enough room for our family of 5. The house was well equipped, kitchen bathrooms & bedrooms. And enough blankets for the living room for all of us.

Short stay

We had a short stay in Crescent city wanted a place we could crash as a family of eight. Marshawn‘s home was perfect for what we needed. It had all the amenities and more and was close to shops and restaurants. Marshawn was quick to respond to any issues and made us feel comfortable in his home. We would definitely stay again thank you

This host does it right!

This is honestly one of the best VRBO experiences we've had. Warm, welcoming touches provided, snacks & coffee bar, music playing on Alexa when we arrived, beautifully furnished home, and great proximity to beach and Redwoods. Comfortable lodgings and excellent host communication. We will definitely be staying again!

Great Location for Exploring the Redwoods

This house was great, it had everything we needed and then some. I would recommend this house to anyone traveling to Redwoods National and State Parks.

Wonderful Time

My parents and I had a wonderful time staying at the Modern Vintage, the house was very well appointed. The host, Marshawn, was very welcoming and attentive he checked in before, during and after our trip to make sure we had everything we required. I would recommend this property to anyone who needed a base for visiting Northern California.

Great house! 2 apple trees!

We came to hike in the redwoods. Loved the well stocked kitchen, comfy beds. Very clean. We had great stay.

Crescent city get away

We loved our stay. Perfect location for what we needed. We headed into Jedidiah state park for the redwoods. House met all our needs for sleeping the age ranges we had from 12 year old up. Kitchen well stocked for our cooking needs. Loved the ease of checking in/out. Communication with owner couldn’t have been a better experience. Would definitely recommend and stay again if I found myself back in the area.

Family Friendly

This was a perfect place to stay as we explored the Redwood National Forest. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The host was responsive and accomodating.

Family Vacation

Beautiful spacious home

The home is beautiful, clean, and well stocked with everything you could ever need. The homeowners so thoughtfully provided little things to make you feel extra welcome. We would definitely stay here again if we returned to the area.

Absolutely loved it

Crescent City is a launching pad for exploring the redwoods and northern CA/southern Oregon beaches. We were perfectly located staying in this home to do both. The yard was fantastic, the interior beautiful, comfortable and super quiet. We absolutely would stay here again and are already recommending to friends. Six stars.

Family road trip

Great stop before hitting the Redwoods. Clean, beautifully decorated and large rooms There was plenty of towels and little extras through the house. The host was quick to respond to any questions. My whole family highly recommends this VBRO

Ladies Relaxing Getaway

The house was perfect for the 5 of us! Comfortable, cozy and clean. Marshawn was easy to communicate with and timely in his responses. Downtown was easily accessible by walking. Would highly recommend this nice home!

I am from Sacramento area, and work in Social Services. After visiting the area, I fell in love with Crescent City and its scenic ocean views, clean rivers, and majestic redwoods. Its a welcome escape from the hustle of the city.

It has been a true blessing to own such a property. They say your not supposed to fall in love with a home when looking, but I did, with all of its hidden nooks, crannies, and vintage charm.
It truly has all the character and craftsmanship of a vintage home, yet felt surprisingly up to date, thus the name, The Modern Vintage. After making even more upgrades and modernizing the décor and amenities, it is truly my pleasure to share this home with you.
