Text 707-951-5075, to let the property manager know you are leaving Golden Grove.Make sure all trash is bagged and put either in the kitchen can or the can under the outside stairs. Leave beds unmade.

If the Port-a-crib was used, remove sheet for cleaning before putting bed away. If the propane tank is empty, please leave it near the BBQ but not hooked up. Leave a 5 star review!

Leave all towels and washcloths on the floor in the laundry room. Do not leave items. The cost for picking it up and dropping it off at our local Mail Room is $30 in addition to the mailing cost.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Huge variety of different sleeping spaces. Comfortable and homey. Peaceful surroundings. Easy parking. Easy access considering remote location. You definitely feel like you’re smack in the middle of the redwoods. You’re not crammed in among a bunch of other rentals.

Perfect Cabin on Smith River

Clean, cozy and lovely home on the Smith River - the back porch is perfect for drinking a cup of tea while chatting. The location, view and peacefulness were unbeatable. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a 3 bedroom property. There is an open loft with a cot and a bonus room with a cot. The bonus room is through the primary bedroom, then bathroom. One of the queen beds needs a new mattress as it has a deep depression in the center which made sleeping difficult. The king mattress in the primary bedroom and other queen bed were comfortable. The living room furniture was comfortable but would be better with another adult seat. Kitchen cabinets were thoughtfully labeled and basic kitchen staples provided. The windows really need some blinds or curtains as we found ourselves looking for hats to shade our eyes from the afternoon sun. They also need a professional cleaning and the spider webs cleaned off. The loft needs curtains or blinds for light control and privacy from the street. Bathrooms were clean with lots of towels and extra blankets. The location is spectacular. We had a great time exploring the redwoods. Great parking for our 2 cars and big truck.

thanks for this feedback. The details regarding which beds are where are already within the listing, so anyone looking would see that when reading the info for this property. There are no cots, but twin beds and a futon-like piece. Which bed sunk in the middle. Since we don't sleep there (me, the manager or the cleaners) we wouldn't know that without a kind person letting us know. Feedback is always welcomed and not required within your review which is more harmful than helpful. We want the best for each guest so when kind guests give us helpful feedback, we take care of it right away.
