Very happy as always with this beach house. The owners go above and beyond to make sure you are safe and have what you need. We unfortunately had to cut our trip three days short due to hurricane Isaias and they were more than accommodating in making sure we were taken care of in that aspect. We did have good weather. We did have fun on the days that were raining. Highly recommend this beach house. The upgrades to the boardwalk leading to the beach was very much appreciated for someone as myself who has a very bad knee and struggling through the sand dunes a few years ago when we were there was painful. But overall, our experience 10 out of 10 highly recommend. Owners are amazing. Communicate well and are very friendly.

These hosts go above and beyond for their renters. This is our second year staying here and cant wait to return. We had an AC issue at the end of the week, they had someone out as soon as possible and more than made it right. We look forward to next summer at the Cape!

We enjoyed our stay! Check in and checkout was easy. The house was clean and we loved the layout. There were plenty of clean towels and basic necessities. I brought extras and didn’t even have to use them. The beach cart that is provided was great. Our beach wagon did not maneuver in the sand very well. Of course our pup was happy and we were as well since she was able to enjoy the beach with us. Definitely will stay again!

We loved our stay at Pelican’s Nest. Great place for dogs who love the beach too. Short boardwalk gets you on the sand.Lots of great places to eat within a short drive. Hopefully we will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The location was perfectly located to have ideal access to both the state park on the cape as well as shopping and dining options in Port St. Joe. The walk to the beach from the beach house was pleasant and the boardwalk out to the beach was very well maintained. I would definitely recommend this location to others (and I have), and I will almost certainly be returning in the future.

We loved this house! Layout was great and it was setup for a convenient and great vacation! There really is no water view because of some overgrown palms but the location is great! Short walk to the beach the beach was beautiful and not crowded at all. Would most definitely stay again!!

We had a great stay! The house was clean and had plenty of space for our family and dog. It was a short walk to the beach and a short drive to restaurants and the trading post. We would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful Paradise

This was our second time staying at the Pelican’s Nest, and both years have been such a dream! We love that it is dog-friendly, because our lab lives the beach! This is her vacation every year! The house is spotless, spacious, and very close to the sand! Lots of delicious restaurants near by. We will be back!
