Encantador apartamento con jardín en el área de Studio City ubicado cerca de Universal Studios, Hollywood y el distrito artístico de NOHO. Cerca de Burbank, muchos de los estudios principales, Griffith Park, (senderos para caminatas y paseos a caballo), el Zoológico de Los Ángeles, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills y el centro de Los Ángeles. Las playas de Santa Mónica y Venecia están a unos 25-30 minutos. Disneyland a unos 40 minutos en coche.

El apartamento tiene una cama con dosel tamaño queen en el dormitorio con un baño completo remodelado adjunto, (bañera y ducha), una gran sala de estar donde podemos colocar hasta 2 camas plegables individuales para huéspedes adicionales si es necesario, un comedor. Habitación y cocina totalmente equipada. También hay un amplio porche cubierto rodeado de árboles en la sala de estar con un sofá, mesa y sillas, y es un gran lugar para relajarse al aire libre y observar a los colibríes en el comedero. La puerta de la cocina conduce a un patio privado cercado y ajardinado con muebles de patio, a la sombra de un majestuoso olmo.
También hay una barbacoa de gas.

Great place to stay

Clean, quiet and in a great neighborhood. My daughter and I stayed there and it was fantastic. We’ll definitely stay there again if we are back in that area.

Excellent as always. This is the third time we have stayed here. It looks just as the photos on the site or even better. Clean and welcoming. Lots of nice touches like plants and flowers placed through out and a good quality welcome basket.The apartment is well furnished, comfortable and is very much home from home. Despite, it being in close proximity to Laurel Canyon Blvd, it is amazingly quiet and restful. The kitchen is well stocked with a range of appliances and equipment for every eventuality. Towels of various sizes are available for bathroom use as well as a different set for the beach.We particularly like the veranda. Here there is a relaxing sofa as well as facilities for eating. The hummingbirds visit daily. An amazing sight for us from the UK!The location in Valley Village is very central for the film studios, Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Metro, which gives very cheap and easy access to all of LA. Two minutes walk away is Jon’s International Supermarket. We found more than we needed there.Helen, the host is very accommodating. You couldn’t wish for anyone better.

We Found Our Forever Home Away Lodging!

I can't rate this property high enough! It deserves more than five stars, that's for sure. The location is ideal because it is near where our son lives, but that's just the beginning. My wife and I were just awestruck at how beautifully the apartment was decorated in perfect vintage style, but yet the kitchen and bathroom were so updated with every new appliance and both rooms so bright. I haven't even started yet. The porch just made us feel like we had lived there for years. We spent as much time there as we could. The back yard was our own private virtual paradise, even though there there are other residences around it. Helen and Diane are just so nice and welcoming, it isn't a surprise the apartment felt like home. We even got to park in the carport, which is engulfed with so many fragrant flowers that we just stood by the car and took it all in every time we got there. Thank you Helen and Diane for your tender, loving care. We just can't wait to come visit again.

Estoy feliz de haberme quedado en la casa de Helen! Es muy acogedora, no falta de nada. La cocina es muy completa, el estar adelante es una maravilla, poder disfrutar de ese espacio para leer, comer, entre los picaflores, ardillas y el agradable ruido de las fuentes de agua. El jardín trasero es muy tranquilo y se puede disfrutar todo el día. Resumiendo: fue una linda y calma estadía. Helen siempre atenta a todo y respondiendo rápidamente. Espero volver!

This was a wonderful home away from home!

The place was so comfortable and clean and an easy place to stay for an extended amount of time. The hosts were always available and dealt with any issues in a timely fashion.

Outstanding rental!Responsive to our request. Well stocked kitchen. We stayed for 60 days. Great value. The owner was super accommodating.

The best!

This property was perfect for all our needs. The place was pristine when we arrived and I have never stayed anywhere where the kitchen was better stocked with all kinds of kitchenware. The grounds are well kept. The location was great. We will be back.

Beautiful apartment

We loved our stay. The apartment was beautifully decorated and very clean. There were fresh flowers in most of the rooms and a fruit basket with snacks waiting for us. We were only 4 miles from Universal and 8 from Hollywood blvd. I stayed with my teenage children and the place was perfect for us. We will definitely stay again in the future.

Favorite Home Away From Home

We've found our go-to rental while visiting our daughter in LA. This home is in a beautiful, walkable neighborhood in Valley Village, with tree lined streets and well kept homes. The inside is cozy, beautifully decorated, and is equipped with all we need for a short or long stay. Our favorite feature is the front porch, with plenty of furniture for relaxing. The back yard is private, and equipped with a gas grill and table that seats 4. Helen and Diana are wonderful hosts!

Amazing Peaceful and Convenient

If you are wondering where to stay in Los Angeles, this is it! Otsego A is a delightfully spacious extremely well appointed cozy apartment, very close to the studios. I needed a place of peace from my hectic job and found the quiet serenity of the front porch and completely fenced in back yard more than I could have hoped for! The bed was super comfortable and provided for restful sleep. And the kitchen!! It's brand new and has everything you could possibly need. Helen is a lovely manager and incredibly kind and accommodating, she goes above and beyond! I felt right at home immediately and hated to leave! If you are looking for a top notch turn key living situation in a great neighborhood, you need look no further. I would recommend this unit over and over! Thank you for all you do Helen!!! You are a gem!

Quiet, safe, and comfortable in Valley Village

I'd stayed at one of Helen's properties previously so I knew my wife and I could expect a clean, well appointed apartment, and that's exactly what we got. This lovely upstairs apartment is on a quiet block with off-street parking under a vine covered carport. The apartment is in a great location too, right off Laurel Canyon and very convenient to most areas of LA. Don't let the stairs detour you as they are wide with a small landing halfway, and we appreciated the privacy of being upstairs. The stairs bring you up to a lovely porch where I enjoyed sitting in the morning and where the front door leads you into the living room you see in the pictures. Speaking of the pictures, everything is exactly as it's presented in these pictures so if you like what you see, that's what you'll get. Helen is a marvelous host and we were greeted with her traditional fruit basket, but she also went out of her way to try to accommodate some special requests we had. The bedroom is large and has a decent sized bathroom. The living room leads into a dining room with a small table. We only ate breakfast in the apartment as we spent our days out in SoCal so we didn't take full advantage of the well stocked kitchen, but if you want to fix meals then everything you need is there. If you've read this far then you're obviously past considering staying in a hotel (which Lord knows why you would do that when you can have a full-blown apartment at maybe half the cost), and as a person that has stayed in many VBRO's and HomeAways I can highly recommend this apartment as one that will meet or exceed your expectations as it did mine.

Wow what a gem.

Thank you Helen for offering us this apartment for our stay in L.A. It looked great in the photographs, and it is exactly as shown or better. It is immaculately clean and has everything you could possibly want when on holiday. Helen provides a starter fruit bowl which was very nice and a folder full of useful information, restaurants, shopping etc. We just used Jons supermarket, a convenient short walk over the road. Otsego is very quiet despite the motorways sorry freeways being really close. The apartment is really well located with Studio City 2 mins down the road, Warner Brothers studio about 15 mins away and Universal about 20. We made it all the way back from the Griffith Observatory one evening in about 20 mins and one morning all the way to the Getty Museum in about the same amount of time. We paticularly enjoyed the terrace. The sun is on it all day. So we were able to have our breakfast outside in the morning and if back, dinner in the evening. We don't have hummingbirds in England so having them on the terrace feeder with us was a real privilege. It is not mentioned in the information but in the cabinet in the living room is a huge TV. We could not wish for a better place to stay for our once in a lifetime vacation to LA. Comfort and serenity in a great location

My husband and I stayed in this blissful haven for six nights and our only regret was that we couldn't stay for a month. From its perfect location in a leafy garden setting on a quiet tree-lined street to its cozy interiors, this romantic retreat made us feel as if we were living in an English country cottage rather than being moments away from a buzzing metropolis. The apartment was so well appointed with everything we could wish for (heavenly bed, quality linens and towels, fully stocked kitchen and laundry, fast wifi, cable TV, sunny garden and romantic balcony ) that it was hard to drag ourselves away. When we did venture out to explore the many great restaurants in the neighbourhood there were lots to choose from. Asian fusion food at Spice Season was memorable, as was the creative Mexican fare at Ceremony. Having stayed at other vacation rentals in Helen's collection we already knew what an awesome host she is. Everything is taken care of with care, thoughtfulness and efficiency. Can't recommend this perfect place highly enough.

Loved this Rental!

My husband and I stayed in the upstairs duplex for a week. It was exactly as described and exceeded our expectations. It is located in a nice residential area, but still within walking distance of some businesses (such as grocery and Starbucks). The unit was very spacious, clean, nicely furnished and well-maintained. We particularly enjoyed the lovely covered porch...great place to have your morning coffee and read the paper! Helen was a great hostess and even had a welcome basket waiting for us upon arrival. Throughout our rental process, Helen was very helpful and quick to respond to emails. We would highly recommend this unit and hope we have the opportunity to stay there again.

An Oasis

We just returned from a great extended weekend in L.A. I cannot recommend this rental property enough. There were so many wonderful touches throughout the house. The owner has thought of everything you might need from a kitchen utensils to bathroom products. The location can’t be beat. You are close to Hollywood, beautiful Burbank and Pasadena, beaches, and studios. This will be the only place I want to stay on all future visits to L.A. Thanks very much!

Worth coming back to

We stayed here on our first trip to LA in 2008 and had no qualms about coming back again. We have stayed in apartments all over Europe and the US (most of them really nice) and would say that this is without doubt the best of them all. Helen goes to great lengths to make sure that everything is perfect. It is kept beautifully clean and is so comfortable that it feels like home as soon as you arrive. It's so well looked after that when we arrived this time, it looked exactly as it had when we were there 4 years earlier. I would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a good quality, comfortable base, well located to explore LA and its surroundings.

Delightful Gem Tucked Away in the Middle of LA

We just returned from a wonderful weekend getaway! The reviews and photos looked good when we booked the upstairs apartment but what a truly delightful gem it is! All the extra touches Helen put into the property to make guests feel welcome, comfortable and relaxed were wonderful!!!! I can not say enough positive things about the entire encounter. I Loved, Loved , Loved this vacation property.

This was my first experience with Homeaway and let me tell you, it was great. The property was just as it was stated in the advertisement. I did not have a need to speak with the owner for anything in particular, because she had all of the bases covered. Well stocked kitchen and bath, very comfortable bed. The home was decorated very very nicely. Comfortable living room furniture, just a little soiled, nothing a little spot cleaning couldn't fix, but comfortable nonetheless. I will stay here again and again. My granddaughter loved playing outside in the nicely manicured backyard. Family loved the feel of home of the apartment.

Welcoming Owner - Great Location (for us, anyway)

This 2nd floor apartment was a most convenient location for us as we have family in the area-- and there is nearby access to the vast freeway system of LA. The owner was very responsive. On the first day, we discovered that the coffeemaker was broken and before the day was out, a new one had been place in the kitchen. There was also a welcoming bowl with fruit, cookies and microwave popcorn. The place was clean and comfortable. Best of all, the water pressure in the shower was great (a big plus for me, even though it is rarely mentioned in reviews). The small but workable kitchen was well stocked with utensils and dishes. There was a nice front covered deck with a small table and couch that would be lovely in warmer weather.
