We enjoyed the stay very much and would like to return. Kelly was terrific throughout and very supportive. Easy to check in and check out. The house came with more supplies than we imagined. J&J
This home was perfect, clean and easy for our family stay while we attended a wedding nearby. With historical details and furnishings, we enjoyed the feeling of stepping back in time with modern amenities. The history and all the details were fun; we explored the grounds and saw some wildlife. Very peaceful setting. The front porch was perfect for summer nights and morning coffee and a game of cards. The kitchen offered all you would need. Plus, the closets offered extra coats and gear needed for any weather. Bikes were in the barn to use. A town, about 3 miles away, offered a grocery store, two places to grab a coffee and a treat or a sandwich, three restaurants, two of which serve alcohol. A fun downtown to explore with the Coe House museum and a railcar museum. Two blocks from downtown is a public access to Grass Lake with a playground. I would love to live here!

I'm just reading this now! I'm so pleased that you enjoyed the property and the village of Grass Lake. It is indeed a lovely place to live. Come again soon!
The house, barns, and property were beautiful. We enjoyed some lovely time on the porch, and the space was perfect for three friends and I to catch up.
We enjoyed the house with its nostaglic feel. It worked for our group of 5 adult family members and our dog. Grocery store is very close and had what we needed. Enjoyed the view of red barns, corn fields and visits from Sandhill Cranes.
This is my second time staying at Aunt Esther’s, and I am once again shocked that this property is even available to rent — it feels like the home should be a museum, not a rental. The grounds are beautiful, and Kelly, the hostess, did a wonderful job. I cannot recommend this place enough. Will be sure to return!
Great stay at Aunt Esters! Easy check in process, fresh veggies and eggs were provided and we loved that little detail. We came in for a music festival and it was a great little getaway in between coming and going to that. Kelly was very helpful in describing every detail we would need that I didn’t have any questions on anything. Thanks for the hospitality!
