I think the property overall was fairly good for the most part but there were some issues that our group had. In the picture, the house looks so beautiful but when we pulled up, the house looked a little run down. There was a lot of paint that was chipped from the front of the house, and the weeds were really high. The inside was clean and spacious. However, there were a few things that could be improved. The side doorknob was broke, so my brother-in-law had to fix it, the inside of the stove was super dirty, so we had to scrub it thoroughly before we could use it. Also, only one side of the BBQ worked, which made it take a long time to grill for a large party. There were no dish towels or paper towels, so we had to buy some. The fireplace bottom piece is hanging down as well. We couldn't get the internet to connect to the T.V. either. We did have a good stay and it worked for our group of 13 but hopefully they can fix some of the issues for the next guests.

Private escape for large family

We had 13 family members in this cabin and it worked out very well! The house was clean and stylish, though a little disorganized. We rented here for the proximity to Glacier. Turns out, it’s at least an hour drive to West Glacier entrance. That was a little far for us. Wish it had been closer. But there is amazing hiking to be done in the Jewel Basin and the proximity to Big Fork was great. Public beach access to Echo Lake was a 5-10 min drive. Looking at the map of the listing, I thought we’d be able to walk there, but no. Oh well. We enjoyed our time a lot. Host was responsive and we got a good feel for Montana.

Great spot for a family get together, very secluded and private. Lots of room!

Easy check in process. Only issue is that main living area is on the second floor which makes it difficult for older folks. Didn’t notice that on the listing. Other than that it was a great place.
