Choose air conditioning or just open the doors to the front and rear decks and enjoy the prevailing southwest breeze as it passes through the condo.

Fall asleep to the sound of the ocean waves and wake up to an ocean view through sliding glass doors to the balcony deck just off the bedroom.

From here it is an easy walk to breakfast at the pier. Walk along the undeveloped North End and expect to see dolphins playing offshore.

Enjoy a clean, well-maintained and comfortable vacation getaway with a small town atmosphere just minutes away from the Pleasure Island Boardwalk.

Take advantage of unusual styles of rental bicycles, local restaurants and attractions or jump in your car and drive to Wilmington's historic waterfront and the USS North Carolina Battleship.

The unit is on the third floor with no elevator.

We like to travel, sail, hike and enjoy nature activities. We are both avid readers and love the 'beach life.'

The Owner purchased this condo in 1989

Why The Owner chose Southern Coast

Having lived in this area years ago, we knew how much we had enjoyed the area and all of the attractions available to travelers. The beach offers relaxing coastal living and the surrounding area is steeped in history.

What makes this condo unique

We enjoy the solitude and quiet of being able to take long walks on the North End and 'escape' with a stack of books. Yet, we know that good restaurants and various attractions are easily within reach. This area offers the option of 'getting away from it all' or interesting 'sightseeing' in one beautiful package!

Completely perfect

This condo had everything you could possibly need to enjoy a stay in Carolina Beach. There were plenty of nice quality linens, fully stocked kitchen, beach chairs, even a telescope for stargazing! The best feature, to me, was the balcony off the bedroom with a wonderful view of the fishing pier at the north end of the island. Sleeping with the sounds of the ocean right outside your window is so refreshing. The decor and furnishings were all very pleasing. I will definitely be renting from the lovely owner again. The process could not have been easier. Thanks again, Lynda, for allowing me to enjoy your lovely condo! Can't wait to return!

Relaxing and Beautiful Location

We continue to book this place each year, as we call it "our place". The condo has all the comforts of home. The condo is in a good location, not far from town and all the events going on, but quiet and a place to relax and enjoy the scenery and ocean sound. You can see the ocean from the deck which connects to the bedroom, so you can hear the ocean waves as you go to sleep. Just walk across the street to the ocean or you can enjoy time at the pool, which is kept up quite well. The best of both worlds. The owners are very nice to deal with too.

Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay in the condo. The location is great. The bed is comfortable. Despite the small size, the layout makes great use of space and is very functional. Everything works well and the decor looks good. We also really enjoyed the pool.

Great mini-vacation

After a stressful week, we decided on a last minute vacation to relax. This condo was exactly what we needed. Everything was exactly as described. Loved having choice of two balconies (ocean or pool view). Owner was great to work with, she quickly responded to our last minute inquiry about renting and promptly sent all the rental information to us. Condo is well equipped with everything you need. Just bring yourself and clothes!

Most relaxing mini-vacation

After a very stressful week, we decided on a last minute beach trip. Owner was very quick to respond to our inquiry about renting the condo and promptly sent us all the rental info. Condo was exactly as described, very clean, good location and good views. We didn't cook while there but the kitchen looked to be equipped with everything you need. Owner also had beach chairs and umbrellas there. You just need to bring yourself and clothes! I loved having the choice of two balconies to sit on (ocean or pool view).

Great, but short, stay

All was as described. I disliked the flight of stairs but knew that was a part of the deal. The place was clean, well decorated and the bed was very comfy. Parking might be a problem under the building because you could easily be blocked in by another resident, so we parked on the side of the building where there was plenty of space. Walkway to the beach is directly across the street and very convenient. Good, fast internet via wi-fi. We'll probably be returning, hopefully for a longer stay.

1. Check-In time is after 3:00 p.m. EST and Check-Out time is 10:00 a.m. EST. No early check-ins.
2. This is a Non-Smoking unit. This includes the interior and decks.
3. Pets are not permitted in this unit under any conditions.
4. We will not rent to vacationing students or singles under 25 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent.
5. DAMAGE/RESERVATION DEPOSIT: A reservation deposit of $100 is required upon making the reservation. This deposit automatically converts to a security/damage deposit upon arrival. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within fourteen (14) days of departure, provided the following provisions are met:
a. No damage is done to unit or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
b. No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay.
c. All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in dumpster; and soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher, washed and put away.
d. The key is left in the lockbox and the unit is left locked.
e. All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.
f. No linens are lost or damaged.
g. Parking passes are left inside the unit upon departure.
h. Pool pass(es) is/are left inside the unit upon departure. Each lost pool pass has a $50 replacement cost.
i. The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner), the local law enforcement, or any security company employed by Courtyard at Seascape.
j. There has been no early check-in or late check-out.
CANCELLATIONS: A thirty (30) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than thirty (30) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment and reservation/security deposit. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund.
