Cozy Coastal Cottage

*WE ARE LOCATED IN CONWAY SC on Highway 544 About 1.9 MILES FROM COASTAL CAROLINA UNIVERSITY * The house is not on the beach. We are 20 minutes from Surfside Beach. This 2 bedroom 1 bath was a garage turned mother law suite. It’s the perfect get away spot. Close to everything but far enough from all the crazy traffic. It is located right behind our personal property.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour chez Darrel et Angie. Le logement était parfait, propre, bon emplacement, il y avait tout ce dont on avait besoin, Darel est un hÎte de grande qualité, bref tout était parfait!

Hidden Gem

This truly was a hidden gem. First, I have to say both of the hosts were lovely. Email communication with Angie was always answered promptly. We were delayed by bad weather and Darrell was nice enough to leave the lights on prior to our arrival. Having stayed in a multitude of VRBO’s over the years I can honestly say this was the cleanest one I’ve stayed in to date. The beds were extremely comfortable. The shower had amazing water pressure. There was ample offstreet parking, which was greatly appreciated. Outside there was a large picnic table along with a manicured lawn and beautiful flowers. Most importantly, we were only a few miles from my son’s college campus, which was extremely convenient. I can’t wait to stay here again.!!

Little hideaway

Surprising little getaway cottage!!! It was perfect for our family of 4 for a long weekend while attending a baseball camp at CCU. Close to campus and just a short drive to the beach and all other local attractions and restaurants. It was exactly as described and super clean! Would definitely stay here again!!

A Week at Myrtle Beach

The home was clean and well-decorated, my favorite amenity was the AC since I like it cold, and the parking was good because our vehicle was hidden from the main road. Darrel was polite and to-the-point, and I don’t have any complaints about our stay at all.

We’ll Stay Here Again

Everything about this place was just as it should have been. (We prefer a firm mattress, and the big bed was soft, but some like them that way!) The neighborhood doesn’t do justice to this little slice of goodness tucked inside. Maybe this example will make the rest perk up a bit. Thanks for letting us use your wonderful little place.

We had a great stay for orientation at Coastal Carolina. It was near the campus and had so many touches of CCU merch. It was a great stay.

Just Adorable

My husband and I stayed for 6 nights. We were down visiting my grandaughter that goes to CCU. This place had everything we needed and it was clean. Decorated so cute live the lemmons. Darrell was available for anything we needed and was very friendly. There cozy cottage is just that, cozy. I would stay there again if we are in the area. Five 🌟

Short visit

My oldest son and I traveled to SC for a few days and wanted to stay somewhere close enough to attractiins, but not in the heart of them. This was a cozy, clean, well taken care of little piece of heaven tucked away. The owners are friendly and attentive if needed. Would recommend a stay here.

Super Cute, Convient Cottage to Coastal Carolina

We stayed while visiting CCU for accepted students day. It was the perfect location, close to campus and all local activities; including the beach. There wasn't a detail missing from this cottage - everything you could need in a pristinely clean environment. Darrell greeted us upon our arrival and was friendly and answered all of our questions. I look forward to staying again!

Perfect spot for a CCU college visit!

Stayed here while my son attended a camp and college visit to CCU. Very deceiving when pulling into neighborhood, but this place is tucked behind the owners home and a private little getaway! Place was extremely clean and decorated perfectly, even with Christmas decorations since we stayed in December. Angie and Darrell were very responsive during our stay! Will definitely stay again if our son goes to CCU!

Perfect to visit your CCU student.

Little gem close to campus. This cottage is perfect for visiting your CCU student, it’s 3 minutes from campus. It’s tucked into a quiet neighborhood. The beach and all the tourist attractions are about 20 minutes (probably more in the summer). This cottage has everything you need, 2 bedrooms, well stocked kitchen, large bathroom, washer and dryer and enough seating for 4. The pictures on the webpage don’t do it justice on how nicely decorated and clean it is. Hosts Angie and Derrel were wonderful. They communicated everything we needed for check in and out. Save this one to your favorites!!

We stayed here for the Bands of America competition at Costal Carolina University. This is very close to the college, however it is not walking distance.

Bedroom with double bed was a cramped. Disappointed no walk in shower but that was my fault for not asking; I have a hard time getting in & out of bathtub because of my knees. The unit was clean, the kitchen was the best stocked kitchen I have ever seen in a resort or vrbo. It was very nicely decorated & I appreciated the positive saying she had in wall decoration.

Hidden Gem

Angie & Darrell were amazing hosts and very flexible! Home was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Perfect location while in town supporting your favorite Coastal Carolina team or visiting the campus! The beach isn't too far either if you want to catch the amazing sunrise. Hi I’m Angie, husband and I purchased this home after living here for 8 years. Someone had already started remodeling the garage into a small 2 bedroom apartment. We thought it would be great for our families to have somewhere to go. So we finished it up last 2 years ago before Covid. It was a very big challenge but we love it how it turned out. Hope any that books does as well.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

It is very homely. We put a lot of love into it. I have been coming to this area since I was a child and love that our property is far enough from all the crazy beach noise and traffic but close enough to enjoy the beach and the area.
