Beautiful Hawaiian Studio with Panoramic Views

Centrally located on a beautiful green three acre estate on the slopes of Hualalai (right above the historical Kailua Kona) this private, spacious studio is truly a gem. The entire property is fenced with access thru gate with an electric gate opener. Large yard and plenty of wildlife in this rural peaceful setting. This studio is truly a piece of paradise, feeling worlds away from the heat and humidity of downtown Kailua Kona but with the convenience of being only a ten to fifteen minute drive to beautiful beaches, restaurants and shopping.

Every window and sliding door has blackout shades/ blinds for privacy. There is a separate Gas BBQ Grill, the separate Washer/Dryer for use by the two studio units. Making this property perfect for lots of privacy for an enjoyable get away for families, couples and friends. With nearly a constant year round temperature in the 70's during the day and a cool 60's during the evening with the sound of soothing crickets and coqui frogs in the distance it is the perfect elevation for a comfortable tropical setting. You will truly enjoy the walks through our neighborhood or if you wish to just relax and be greeted with the sounds of birds chirping while enjoying breezes from the cool trade winds, it's a natures lover's paradise. If it is peace you are looking for then this is the ideal location for you, whether taking an evening walk or BBQ outside while taking in the view, the studio offers a beautiful Hawaiian setting.

More About Our Studio:
Our Vacation Rental Studio is a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom studio which sleeps 4. One California King Bed with a 3'' memory foam topper & One Queen Pull Out sofa Bed which we can have ready if requested.
The studio has a fully equipped Kitchenette, with all you need to create your own meals. microwave, coffee pot, electric tea kettle, single induction cook top, blender and toaster.
A dining/living room/bedroom all are located in an open concept room with large windows, overlooking the yard with panoramic views of the ocean and beautiful sunsets.
The property is great for relaxing after a long day of excursions visiting the active volcano, deep sea fishing or swimming in the ocean.
The studio includes a desk & chair along with a bluetooth alarm clock of which you can plug your phone into the front.
Outside there is a communal Washer & Dryer- Shared with one other Vacation Rental Studio. Laundry pods are supplied.
Samsung smart 4k TV with Youtube Tv provided. Wifi is provided thru a Orbi Mesh system with internet speeds in the 400s MBPS.
Outside we have a BBQ, (Propane Gas), extra on hand if needed. The Lanai/Deck is great for relaxing outside while listening to the native birds chirping with the scent of tropical flowers in the air or at night admiring the bright Kona stars as you take in our tropical retreat.
Check out is at 11 AM and check in is at 4:00 PM, for Early check ins or late check out's- Please check with owner, times may be changed per availability/request.

The studio was comfortable and the panoramic views good. Might want to purchase a few new pillows (pillows were quite flat). I purchased one new one and left for the next guest.A new toaster might be needed, we toasted outside as the toaster always set off the smoke alarm.James was wonderful, the laundry came in very handy and the bed was wonderful, slept nicely every night.

Very comfortable, great amenities including soap/shampoo/conditioner/hair dryer/microwave/stovetop/medium size refrigerator/living room furniture and dining room furniture, we bought a bigger coffee pot to leave there because we drink lots of coffee in the mornings 😊, washer and dryer very handy between units, had a great stay and will definitely use this place again!!

Great experience

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights and loved it. We felt safe and comfortable while staying in this unit. The location and view were good. It is far enough away to be quiet, but close enough to all the activities we wanted to do. It was very clean and well equipped.

Our stay was truly a peaceful escape, made possible by the kindness of James and Rob. The studio itself was a haven of tranquility – impeccably clean, wonderfully serene, and exceptionally comfortable. We'll never forget the breathtaking landscape views from the studio, which transformed watching the sunset into a truly unforgettable experience. Great place

This place had everything we needed for our stay. Very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and the appliances were like new. Would love to stay here again during our trips to Hawaii. Also, the beach paraphernalia was fantastic...beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, etc.

Quiet, Private Studio with a Scenic View

For a place at the 1500 ft. elevation, we were pleasantly surprised at how close we were to the beach and shopping. No crowds, peace, Coqui frogs at night, and stars were in sight.

Perfect from check in to check out

Loved staying here. Definitely one of the cleanest places we have stayed at. James was wonderful with communication and very accommodating. We were in between vrbo’s on both sides of staying here and he was able to allow us early check in and later check out. This was incredibly helpful as we were nervous about doing anything and leaving our luggage visible in the car. The location was great.. only about 15 minutes from downtown Kona and not far from beaches either! It cooled down nicely at night for comfortable sleeping. Speaking of sleeping- the bed was very comfortable! Would definitely consider staying here again on our next visit to the island.

Amazing Property

Great location and beautiful view!

This spacious studio had everything to make our stay on the Big Island wonderful. It is very easy to access but at the same time feels very private. The view from the lanai was wonderful and the cool air was refreshing. We loved the “music” of the frogs and birds at night. We so appreciated the beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels, and coolers that were available for our use as well as the shared washer/dryer. The bed is very comfortable and we appreciated the high quality linens and bath towels. The kitchen had everything we needed for simple meals. The drive to the KOA airport is only about 10 minutes and our favorite beaches could be reached quickly. We love the Big Island and we loved this studio! Most definitely recommend and most definitely would love to come back.

So many positives, what can I say.. I loved it!! The location was perfect. The decor was modern and fresh. The bed was super cozy. It had everything we needed. A large lanai with a couch and table to watch the Kona sunset. They even provided chairs, beach towels, snorkel gear, cooler and even a boogie board. Fantastic Property

Loved our stay here! The views are phenomenal! Pictures don’t do it justice. Very clean, spacious and open. The property is very quiet, peaceful, lush and relaxing. We are so glad we didn’t stay in the congested main area of Kona. Has pretty much anything you need from beach gear to cooking essentials to a first aid kit. Enjoyed breakfast on the deck every morning as well as several dinners watching the sunset. There is no AC, but it is cooler at that elevation so it was not a issue. There is a tower fan if needed. Costco, Walmart & airport are within about 10 minutes. Very convenient! Would definitely recommend this place to family & friends!

Excellent and cozy studio with everything you need

James, the manager was very communicative and had great tips on places to snorkel, where to see turtles, etc. The apartment has everything you need to be comfortable and make your own meals. The boogie board, beach chairs, cooler, umbrella and beach towels means you don’t have to pack/buy any. The coqui frogs can be loud at night, so bring earplugs. We did not miss the a/c because this apartment sits at a higher elevation which means it stays nice and cooler than Kona. We used the fan some nights and kept the blinds closed during the day to keep the sun out. This place exceeded my expectations. The lanai is perfect for morning coffee and great evening sunsets.

AMAZING PLACE! And, great location!

My wife and I stayed at this studio for 10 days and absolutely loved it. Each amenity was well thought out and the quality of the furniture and fixtures are extremely high. The studio was very spacious and well-maintained. The bed and the linens were excellent. The couch and chairs were high-end leather furniture and were comfortable. The water pressure was strong. The lanai was spacious and faces the sunset direction so we took the time to enjoy the sunset every evening. We could immediately tell that the owners had grand visions for this place and had put a lot of thought and care to make this rental unit a very classy and comfortable place. Both Kevin and Morgan are high character people and they live next door. Kevin/Morgan were responsive to any questions or service needs. My wife and I not only enjoyed staying at this place, but we also enjoyed the people who own and operate this facility. We STRONGLY recommend this rental.

Stay here! You will be glad you did!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The studio was large, well suited to our needs, and the view of the coast was outstanding. The property itself was beautiful, and very well kept. The location was very convenient to town, to the mountain, to stores, and the beaches of the Kona area. There’s even a coffee plantation further up the mountain from this where I was able to go and buy a few last minute gifts for friends back home. unlike some of the places we’ve stayed on Hawaii this was very quiet with regards to traffic or people noise, and it seems the Coqui frogs are everywhere on the big island now so you just sort of learn to live with that. Because this location was well up the mountain, it cooled off nicely in the evening and all we needed was the fan that comes with the apartment. The best thing about this though was the view, I practically lived out on the lanai while I was there. Drink my coffee there in the morning, sat out for an evening cocktail, and even sat out there to read on afternoons that weren’t too sunny. As one other reviewer commented if you have mobility issues there is a step or two between the sleeping area and the kitchen/bathroom area so that could be a consideration for a few folks but for most it will be no issue at all. I hope to stay here again on my next trip back to the big island.

Beautiful and relaxing

We really enjoyed our time here. The view is lovely and I enjoyed eating my breakfast on the lanai. The host is super responsive and helpful. If you like fish, I recommend going to the fish market to get a fresh catch and grill.

This place is super. One narrow warning. if you are elderly and get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, there are three steps going to it. This is not a problem for 80% of the population. Again, this is a great property.

This studio has been newly renovated and offers all the modern amenities! It is spacious and private! You are sure to feel the comforts of home on vacation! Only ten to fifteen minutes to downtown Kailua Kona, Beaches, Shopping & Dining.

What makes this property unique

We have taken extra measures to ensure the comforts of home even when renting a studio. Every wall is insulated With sound bat insulation. The walls separating the rooms have sound board drywall along with solid wood doors. Which makes for optimum sound proofing, comfort & Privacy. Every Window has black out shades or blinds for sleeping and privacy.
