Dissapointing
Great Location in the City Center.
BUT
Serious upgrades are necessary in the whole place.
Due to not heating the basement, the place was musty and even with opening windows, it came always direct back. The laminate flooring is in bad shape due to water damage?
The bathroom is a 1950 standard and this was one of the reasons we left a day early. There was a washer, but the owner explained to us, we can only run it, when we are there due to the chance of flooding!
Upon check in, later as we had asked for, the most important point was, how to close the entrance quietly, so they are not disturbed by the noise from the door.
The whole entry area needs seriously work, with towels stuffed in a wall, etc.
The place is advertised with a parking spot.
We were told to drive around in the neighborhood to find street parking, which is "always" available.
2 days prior to our departure, my wife and I talked about this parking situation at breakfast; 30 minutes later we were offered a parking spot for the day in front of the house.
The next day we parked there again and it did not seem to be a problem for him.
He had offered us a bicycle to drive around, but we did not use it.
Unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay.
