Thank you, Karen! I hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future!
This was one of the cleanest cabins we've stayed in. The views of the mountains were great. Trees around the cabin gave it a privacy from neighboring cabins. Got to see the bear in the area. Check in and out was simple. We will definitely stay at this cabin again!
We had a lovely stay at Chucks cabin. He was very communicative. The cabin is located at the top of a mountain road with incredible views. The cabin is well appointed and had everything my family of 6 needed. The kids loved the games and pool table. We will def be coming back!
We stayed at this cabin the first week of December and it truly deserved its name, “Top of the Mountain. The views were absolutely spectacular, especially when it snowed! In all our years going to the Smokies, it was by far the best view ever. The cabin is well maintained and very clean, supplied with just about anything you might need and from the minute you walk in it has that feeling like you’re home. Chuck was a great host! He was very communicative and responded promptly to any questions I had. I would highly recommend this rental.

Good location
Over all the stay was good. The cabin was nice. Upon arrival at 4:00 for check in, there was someone still in the cabin. We waited and waited until finally my husband went to figure out what was going on. It was the cleaning lady. She was still there cleaning. We had to wait for a while before getting to go in. Also, the kitchen table was still dirty. There was a massive spider web above the bed in the room on the main floor. It’s been there for some time I would say. There were some chips on the floor upstairs that didn’t get vacuumed up. Also, we were a little disappointed with the view. It wasn’t as good as the pictures posted. The trees were grown and the view was restricted. I searched and searched for a cabin with a great view so this was a bit of a let down. There was also a bag of garbage ripped open and strung about on the property. That was gross and also not good for the wildlife. The pool table is looking a little rough compared to the pictures posted online. And we were also disappointed with the hot tub.The jets didn’t hardly work. The jet tub in the bathroom on the upper level worked better than the hot tub. We did get to see a bear on the property though, so that was cool. And the cabin wasn’t bad, it just needs a little more TLC to get it back to how amazing it looks in the online posting.
My family and I stayed at this cabin for a week and loved it! The check-in process was easy and Chuck checked in a few times to make sure we were ok. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes so we had no issues cooking our meals. There was extra pillows and blankets provided in case you need to use the sofa bed. And we had no issues with the WiFi connection for the TVs and my laptop. I can’t wait to stay here again!
