The Space:
Welcome to Manasota Key, the premier beach of the West Coast of Florida. The sleepy coastal community allows you to unwind on the beautiful white sands and swim in the Gulf of Mexico. Within walking distance to all the bars and restaurants as well as Stump Pass Beach State Park, this unit offers everything you need for your beachfront vacation.

PLAN ACCORDINGLY: We provide for your stay the minimal amount of essentials to get your started, such as a paper towel roll, toilet paper roll, hand soap, dish soap, etc. Anything else you may need during your stay, the nearest shopping center is 10-15 minutes away from the property.

CHECK-INS: All check-ins are a self check-in process. For security purposes, access instructions will be sent to you the day of your arrival through Vrbo messaging. Thank you.

EARLY CHECK-INS: Check-in time is 4PM EST (or afterwards). If you need the property prior to check-in time, please be made aware that early check-ins cannot be confirmed or guaranteed until the day of your arrival.

CHECKOUT: All checkouts are at 10 A.M. Please strip the sheets, clean your dishes and throw away all garbage prior to departure. Thank you.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
Welcome to Manasota Key, from the north tip of the island to the south, this quant 11 mile island is picture perfect “old Florida”. This island is unique in which half is in Sarasota County and the other half is Charlotte County. It consists mainly of Englewood Beach in Charlotte County, Florida and is part of the Punta Gorda Metropolitan.

MANASOTA KEY BY MORNING
In the mornings head out your front door and down to the beach where you will find dolphins and other sea creatures making an early morning appearance. Or enjoy a quick bike or car ride to sightsee around the island and find yourself breath taken by the unique layout of the island.

MANASOTA KEY BY AFTERNOON
There are great restaurants on the Key with daily food and drink specials. For a quick drive off the island, enjoy a delicious lunch at Farlows on the Water. One of the best in the area!

Great get-away!

We really enjoyed our long weekend stay here. If you're looking for extravagance, that's not what this place will offer. If you want a quiet, quaint get-away with great proximity to the beach, and the bare essentials, this is perfect. Exactly what we needed for a quick couples escape and a relatively private beach. We will be back!

We liked it very much! If you’re looking for a place to relax, not to crowded for you and your family, you found it. Clean and spacious. What it was missing for a whole week of staying was the laundry machine otherwise everything was perfect for us. We will gladly return:)

We stayed at unit 3 which is on the second floor. People down on the first floor were running up at night to see the great view. They forgot paper towels in our unit and the manager at first seemed like this never happens but it did to us. Anyway, we received towels the next day. Great place and nice beach.

Beautiful View!

The view is amazing. Photos do not do it justice. Plus, you’re right on the sand and that means easy access to the beach for walks and swimming. All the restaurants are close. Most have good food too. The photos show exactly the decor you get. It’s not fancy, but you have what you need. The bed is comfortable and actually now has a cute bedspread. I wish I had taken a picture for the owner to update the listing. This was the perfect spot for this trip with exactly what I wanted. A retro surf shack on the sand. Just like I had growing up on the beach in Sarasota. Manasota Key is quaint and charming. Old school Florida. Come enjoy it and appreciate all that it has to offer just as it is. You won’t find this beauty anywhere else.

Wonderful Location!

We had a wonderful stay, the top unit (#3) had great views of the sunsets, dolphins and manatee’s. Close to the restaurants, the people staying next door had a blast at the tiki bar. Bedroom was comfortable, it’s a quiet road so we didn’t hear any traffic, you will hear your neighbors if they are party people. The appartment isn’t fancy inside, but it has everything you need, except supplies. There was only half a toilet paper and a paper towel when we arrived, no dish soap, sponge, trash bags, tin foil or anything like that to get you by. The circle k down the road didnt have those things either. So if you don’t want to waste your weekend driving to the store, take these things with you. Take ear plugs as the air conditioning is really loud but it is nice and cold. We would love to stay again, the location is superb, we would go more prepared next time.

Overall this place was all we expected. We came for rest and relaxation and this place did not disappoint. It was conveniently located to restaurants. The only issue we had was the ac was very loud when it ran.

Air conditioner was extremely loud contacted my contact ask if he could send some one out to look at it he did not. I went into other units any they were quite. Very annoying. The code to get in didn’t work properly.

Beautiful view and a quiet neighborhood

The view from this property is amazing, the neighborhood is quiet and within walking distance of several great restaurants. Highly recommend the Waverly and the Beachcomber. The condo itself is great; clean and efficient. The AC is nice and cold, but I do wish it was a little quieter; we had to turn it off to be able to hear the TV. Overall an amazing place and will definitely come back!
