Welcome to Tannin Hides! Perfectly located in the Cottages of Tannin. Only a 2-3 minute walk to the sand through the private beach access exclusive to the Village at Tannin. Enjoy one of two seasonal pools. One outside your front door, or the Olympic sized pool down the street exclusively for the Village of Tannin.

The space
Our custom decorated free standing cottage is 1,230 Sq Ft, newly constructed with 2 BD and 2.5 BA that sleeps 6.

Enjoy a meal surrounded by family or friends on the custom built dining bench with ample room for 6, or hang out at the kitchen bar that seats 4.

Living room has 70" TV

The lower level also has a half bath.

The master bedroom upstairs features a king bed, walk in tiled shower, and 50" TV.

The second bedroom features 2 double beds, tiled tub/shower combo, and 50" TV.

Washer/Dryer located upstairs.

Cable TV and WIFI

Outdoor Security Cameras on front porch and exterior side door.

Linens come furnished, but please bring your own Beach Towels.

Beach wagon and umbrella provided. These are kept in the storage closet under the stairs.

NOTE: Guests receive a starter pack of the following consisting of 1 toilet paper per bath, 1 garbage bag per bath and kitchen, 1 paper towel, 1 dish pod, dish liquid soap, 1 laundry pod, 1 soap, 1 travel size shampoo, and 1 travel size conditioner per bathroom. Please plan accordingly.

Guest access
Private Beach Access is right across the street, usually a 2-3 minute walk. Close to shopping, trails, and restaurants. Parking for 2 vehicles max.

Other things to note
The Red Tape:

While we want you to enjoy your time in our home, please be considerate of our neighbors, and observe the quiet time mandated by our HOA. Quiet time is 10 pm.

-MAX OCCUPANCY is 6. Exceeding the maximum occupancy will result in being asked to leave.

-No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/other things beyond our control, unless there is a mandatory evacuation declared for that area.

-Driveway holds 2 vehicles MAX. No trailers, boats, or motorhomes.

-No Smoking of any kind inside the home. Strictly enforced, you will be charged $250. You will be charged an increase in cleaning fee and for any damages.

-NO PETS! Host has severe pet allergies, please leave your beloved pets at home or board them. If you sneak in a pet of any kind you will be charged an additional $250 and you will be asked to leave.

-Photo ID required to book.

-MUST BE 25 years old to book reservation. Guest booking reservation must be present during entire stay.

-The community pools are USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Host is not responsible for any injuries that result from the use of the swimming pool.

-NO PARTIES.

-Rates subject to change up until time of

-No early check-in or late check-out unless previously arranged with host prior to stay. Should you choose to ignore or over look this rule, we reserve the right to charge $75 per hour.

-Directions to home sent after booking is confirmed and before stay. Please use these directions!!

Great getaway

Easy to locate.The neighborhood was quiet and friendly, great family atmosphere. The cottage was clean, well equipped, and easily accessible. We couldnt leave a more positive review, loved it all. We would definitely stay again!

Spring Break Family Trip

This cottage was perfect for my family of 4. Easy, quick walk to the beach. The owners had a wagon, beach chairs, umbrella and beach toys for our use which came in handy. Location was if looking to spend some time in Gulf Shores area, too. We would stay here again!

Great Place

As the title says, its a great place. This is the second time this year we've stayed at the condo and love it. Condo is very clean, modern and the pool is just outside your door (bonus for kids). The beach is a three minute walk, the location is close to restaurants and actives. All in all, a great place. You cannot go wrong staying here!

Great location

Great place to stay. We loved the location. The house was close to the beach, restaurants, mini golf and an arcade. It was a short walk to the beach was easy and I glad to see there was crosswalk light so that traffic would stop. Didn’t get to do much swimming bc of the cold weather but liked having the pool right out front. My son really enjoyed renting bikes and riding in Gulf State Park.

This place is one of the nicest vacation rentals I have ever seen. Everything about it was top notch along with the communication between us and the owner. I would highly recommend this vacation rental to anybody and if you have children, the pool is less than 10 feet from your front door 😎

Softball trip

We were in town for a week long softball tournament. Place was immaculate, quiet after a long day at the ballpark, and close enough to the things the girls wanted to do on off days. Pool was cleaned daily and the beach is right across the street. Worked out well!

Summer vacation

House was spotless and furniture in great shape. In a great neighborhood. Did not use the pool much, mostly stayed at the beach. But pool is right out your front door if you use it. Beach was an easy walk and this house had a wagon available to use which was very convenient.

Great location, a few negatives

The house is in a great spot. We easily got across to the beach and the pool was conveniently located. Everything was super clean when we arrived but the beds were VERY hard. The couch in the living room and cushions on the dining table bench were softer than the beds. We also received instructions on the day of our arrival that we had to start the dish washer

Quick Spring Break Getaway with the Kids

If you are even considering to book this cottage, please just go ahead and do it! It’s clean, adorable, and convenient. Communication with the owner was easy and she is so very responsive. My family of 5 (me and my husband, kids aged 10,7,7,) stayed here comfortably! Sofa downstairs is a pull out to a sofa bed. Walk to beach was quick and easy. The wagon, beach chair and umbrella that are provided at the property were all so helpful with our trips back and forth to the beach. The tv is preloaded with peacock, Netflix, and other apps so all you have to do is log into your personal account. Ample kitchen supplies provided (has both Keurig and full sized coffee pot available). So impressed with this cottage.

Great Orange Beach Birthday

We booked a short long weekend stay at this property to celebrate my youngest daughter’s birthday. Had a great stay and was very impressed by the property. It was immaculately clean and nicely decorated kind of a beach pottery barn vibe. The small pool in the front and larger pool down the road were both nice. We had to get used to the closeness of the units I suppose. It’s a very “communal” feel when other families are sitting out on the front patios but that’s more about me liking my space I suppose. I will say the beach is completely accessible but is a short walk across the street. Not a bad thing but obviously not “on the beach”. We knew that going in but again keep that mind…you will not hear the ocean. In fact there was some street noise but we just overlooked that. Randy was great to work with and the check in and check out process was a breeze.

What an amazing place to stay. More than enough room and a great location.

The process of renting this home was extremely easy. The owner was very nice and provided us all the info we needed as well as suggestions for dining. Great location, very clean, just a beautiful house with all the amenities we needed and some we didn’t use due to time constraints. We will definitely be coming back!!! Great Experience!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The owner was very pleasant and very responsive. The house was great - very clean and thoughtfully furnished. The private beach was amazing and is a quick walk from the house. It was actually a quicker walk to the beach for us than from condos on the beach side of Perdido that we have stayed at in the past. Highly recommend this great cottage!

Mother’s Day weekend and soccer tournament

So much fun for a mother- daughter getaway paired with a soccer tournament. Amazing location for the fields at Foley sports complex and so close to the beach(waiting on the walk sign at the crosswalk is the longest part). Can’t wait to bring the rest of the family back. Thanks

Beachy Weekend

This property has a lot going for it. Very clean, we could tell it is just recently built. Very nice location, just a short walk to the beach itself. The property came with all the amenities you need; beach chairs, umbrella, a hose to shower off the sand before re-entering, etc. Probably some of the nicest, largest showers I've seen in any rental. I have (3) small critiques. #1 - The large TV in the living room we never could get to work correctly, we ended up watching all of our TV in our bedroom TV that worked fine. It might help to provide some instructions with that living room TV. #2 - The master bathroom shower door catches on the bottom tile, we needed to lift the door as we swung it shut to get it to clear the tile. #3 - The spacious, luxuries showers were SEMI wasted by the unit's very low water pressure. All in all, I'd return to this location again, and look to return to this unit & community again.
