Grand Lakefront House w/ Private Dock!

5 night minimum between Memorial Day through Labor Day.
3 night minimum remainder of the year.

3 bedrooms with 2 bonus rooms furnished with beds, 3 full baths, and over 4300 sq. ft. to spread out with up to 10 guests.

The lakefront house, with an open floor plan, has ample living space for you to entertain your friends and family while enjoying the scenic views of Lake Wallenpaupack. The home is fit for family fun or a relaxing, cozy mountain getaway.

Lakefront access, private dock with 1 boat slip and 2 jet ski dry docks, rent or bring your own boat/jet skis. Dock available Memorial-Labor Days. Close access to local ski resorts, waterparks, golf, hiking, mountain biking, white water rafting, breweries, wineries, art, and restaurants.
The space was renovated in 2007 and again in 2017, this Southwestern style interior designed home has a lot of modern updates like A/C, Wi-Fi, and smart TVs. The owner of this house took extra care in the details to really make it feel authentic to its environment. There are 3 eating areas that offer different dining experiences. The home has 2 working fireplaces; 1 wood burning and the other is gas. We allow our guests to use our canoe, double and single kayaks during your stay. We have other rafts and inflatables you may use. After getting back from the lake, relax in one of the 3 living rooms by reading a book or watching a good movie. At night, play a game with your guests from our board game selection. You may also enjoy time down by the lake and build a campfire or stargazing on the dock. It’s very rare you don’t see a shooting star on a clear night.

Security: We have 3 security cameras monitoring 24/7 on the front of house on upper corner by steps, rear of house on basement floor under deck, and on the corner of roof on back deck. There is no audio recording. Footage is deleted every 30 days.

Family Vacation

Our family had a relaxing vacation at the home on the lake. Everyone enjoyed the large kitchen & screened in porch areas with plenty of room for having our gourmet meals cooked by my son, the chef. Guys also did some fishing off the large dock.

This rental was one of the best we’ve had. My family does a summer vacation every summer with 10 to 12 family members. This property had everything and more. The lake location was awesome and my in laws were able to pick us up on the property’s dock for evening cruises. The house was spacious with three common areas for socializing and the bedrooms were very comfortable. Beautiful deck overlooking the lake and screened in porch with seating for 16.

We loved this location! The house is spacious and had many rooms to hangout in. We loved the screened in porch for game night and the firepit but the lake. Relaxing on the dock at sunrise and sunset was beautiful. It does get a bit rocky from the boats passing by, but the kids loved jumping in to water from it. The house was equipped with a canoe that we used and a kayak. Our family really had a fantastic time at this spot. It really checked every box we have been looking for. We hope to stay there again next summer!

Perfect Lake House!

This house was the perfect stay on beautiful Lake Wallenpaupack. My girlfriend and I very much enjoyed this large spacious lake house. Everything was well taken care of and all the details were spelled out easily. Easily one of the best rental properties I have stayed at. Also Sean the contact for the property was super easy to deal with. Overall 5 out of 5!!! Would highly recommend staying!!!

Spacious with great views!

The home had plenty of room. Several friends joined us for the week and we were able to work remotely, enjoy the spacious kitchen and multiple living rooms, fires by the dock, games in the lawn, lounge and swim in the lake and all with ease. We could hang out together and still find space alone if needed. It was a great home to share with friends! We had everything we needed to enjoy lake life!

Family Vacation

The property was clean and the kitchen well stocked with appliances and utensils. The house was spacious with multiple places to gather and with 2 living rooms downstairs suite and porch, places for quiet time. All the bedrooms where a good size. Everything in the house worked! The dock looked pretty new and we enjoyed the fire pit some nights. The only potential negative for some is that there many stairs down from the house to the lake. Should add that Sean, the contact for the property, was a pleasure to deal with.

Lake-cation

We had a nice stay during our annual trip to the lake. The house was beautiful, spacious, and clean. We enjoyed the view of the lake, playing down by the dock, and using the canoe to go to the nearby island to look for arrowheads (only found one this year). We were able to go on a few local hikes and one in promise land state park. Our girls enjoyed the books and toys in the basement and we appreciated the gates for the steps for our littlest one. Many memories made.

Truly wonderful property

We really loved staying here! It was a great fit for our family. We especially loved the yard in front of the lake with the fire pit. It was perfect for our kids because they had a safe and flat spot to run around and then there was a rock beach leading to the lake that gave them a safe spot to play and be in shallow water while the adults fished on the dock. The beds were comfortable and the house itself is big and spacious. We were able to really relax and enjoy ourselves and the owner was very responsive if we had any questions.

Hi, I am Sean, the owner's son. I take care of all vacation rentals for my family. We use this house more than we rent it because we love it so much. When it is available, we like to rent it to other families who appreciate the Poconos and Lake Wallenpaupack as much as we do. I grew up on this lake and spent many summers here. So many of my fondest childhood memories we made in and around this home. We hope that you can make some great memories here as well.

Why they chose this property

Since my family built this house in the 1970s, my family has slowly added on to the home. We have made it very comfortable and cozy yet open and large. It sits on a mountainside with views of the Lake Wallenpaupack and Lacawac Sanctuary. The sanctuary will never allow the building of homes so there is limited light pollution for maximum stargazing. When you look out from the edge of the lake, it looks more pristine than other parts of the lake.

What makes this property unique

We have a private dock that was just rebuilt in 2021 with 1 boat slip for a 20 ft boat and 2 dry dock jet ski slips.
