Cozy Cabin in the Redwoods
Essex Springs Redwood & River Retreat
Enjoy a secluded retreat in this contemporary-style cabin in the Redwoods. Bathed in sunlight, the cabin is a short stroll to the Mad River and only minutes from HSU and downtown Arcata's local shops, restaurants, grocery stores, and Community Forest.
This cozy redwood retreat has a welcoming covered front porch, a fully equipped kitchen, and bamboo and tiled floors throughout. The open floor plan accommodates a comfortable queen-sized bed downstairs and a cozy sleeping loft with a full-sized bed upstairs... each within the view & comfort of the warm stone hearth. The west-facing sunny back deck is ideal for outdoor dining while enjoying this private Redwood Oasis.
Also, if you have a little time to explore, our location is just a short drive to beautiful local beaches near Eureka and Trinidad, & natural paradises of Patricks Point State Park, Big Lagoon and Redwood National Park.
