Disappointed in Unit, not in property
Love the property, stayed at many units 10 years. First time in this one & our last. While staff was responsive, Kitchen outdated, grime, mold around sink, filthy cabinets inside, rust and dirty around sink faucet, rusted cooking items (colanders etc). Filthy light above sink. This was all such a disappointment. Bedroom popcorn ceiling had dust hanging from it everywhere. We used ceiling fan but had webs of dust falling on us. Felt unclean. Couch pillow had bird droppings on it. Makes you question the cleaning habits overall. Couch uncomfortable, we used chairs. 2 phones in unit, not plugged in. Why there? Were they meant to be accessible and useable? Clock on table blinking constant - was not set. Minor, but goes to attention to detail. Biggest concern: Bathroom fan not working. Prop Mgr offered to send maintenance. I specifically said we need to agree on date and time. I am not comfortable with someone entering without approval. They came anyway. Said we gave permission – we did not. Our personal belongings were on display, valuables, etc. When a person enters front door, they look directly into bathroom / shower and we were not closing bathroom door during showers due to fan issue. This entire event made me uncomfortable. It was very disappointing. We will continue to visit the property but will not choose this unit & would question staying in a unit managed by the same company.
