Exactly what we wanted for the weekend. Pet friendly, quiet, fantastic outdoor space and had anything we could have needed. Stairs inside the cabin were too tricky for the dog, but the host was great and told us all of that in advance. The stairs did not hinder how awesome this cabin was and it is very well maintained. The hosts recently updated an already spacious log home. It is a quiet hideaway with virtually zero traffic. This has been our 2nd spring trip there and it was even better than last year with the updated. Great rental!

This property was fantastic! It was a real nature retreat, we did not hear any traffic, only birds and nature. A few mornings I saw deer on the property, and so many birds! The peace was exactly what we had hoped for. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed to cook meals and relax. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Mountain top cabin

This place was well described, from the cabin, to the stairs, the driveway, and the fire pit. Would definitely recommend! Quiet, peaceful, clean, and lovely. I would like to come back someday. I can see why the guest book has repeat visitors. The stairs are interesting, but manageable if you’re pretty mobile and not disabled. And be careful when standing in bedrooms, beams are a little close if your a taller person:)

We would have given this an overall 5 star rating if not for the very bad cluster fly problem. We won't elaborate, as it's been addressed in a number of previous reviews. The owner is aware and seems to be trying to resolve the problem. It did, however, get worse each day and affected the overall enjoyment of our stay.That being said, the owner is very kind, responsive, and accommodating. We absolutely loved the cabin. It's very quiet and peaceful, and well-appointed. Many amenities and attention to detail. Great kitchen with everything you need, comfy couches and bed. Time spent on the wrap around deck is soothing for the soul.As advised by the owner in the check-in instructions, the smell of the well water is very off-putting. Very glad we brought our own drinking water!
