Sturgis cabin rentals

We have stayed at Hilltop Hideaway on three different occasions, and we have loved every one of them. The house is the perfect size for us, not too big or too small. The peace and quiet is just what we need when we escape from the East Coast. Our favorite times of the day are spent on the porch just listening to absolute silence. We enjoyed watching the chipmunks, squirrels, turkeys and deer during our stay. It's also a very convenient location to get to Deadwood, Lead, Hill City, Custer and Rapid City. Pactola Reservoir is just a few minutes away!Audra was a great hostess - very responsive and the house is always clean and in good order. We are already planning our next stay!!

This was the second time that our family stayed in this house, and it was wonderful again! The house is spacious, very comfortable and perfect for all ages. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, wildlife outside and the hot tub. We love that it’s just a short drive to Rapid City, and we hope to come back again!

We rolled to our hosts rustic cabin location on motorcycles from Minnesota to attend the 84th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, and do some side tours of Deadwood, Leads, Custer, Custer State Park & Mount Rushmore. Our hosts Lynn & Bill were very gracious, accommodating, friendly and attentive hosts. The rustic cabin setting was perfect. I will definitely be back!!! Thank you!

We had no issues finding the home. The road is good and check in easy. The home was very clean. The hot tub, quiet patio area, gas grill and fireplace amenities were very enjoyable with a beautiful view. My daughter and I liked the automatic ice maker in the kitchen refrigerator/freezer for those morning iced coffees! My daughter and SIL shared the other downstairs bathroom and appreciated two separate sinks. It was also nice to be able to do laundry while there. There are some things we found that should be noted, especially if you have elderly, small children or people with mobility issues in your party. Things to note: - No bathroom upstairs. - One bedroom is downstairs with the rest upstairs. - The steps to the front door, garage into home and patio areas have two oddly tall steps, taller than average anyway, and there are no railings. - No TV downstairs, other than the bedroom. - Upstairs TV room. It is not conducive to several people wanting to watch a program, as there are only four seating places. You will need to carry drinks and snacks upstairs (think of littles and elderly). - Living room sofas are very low. - No welcome book. Host quickly answered questions, however, Wifi password, among other general items should be noted in a welcome book.

The hosts were wonderful, I can’t put it simpler! The property was immaculately maintained and there were added amenities we wouldn’t have even thought of. It is secluded but very close in. We will definitely stay again the next time we vacation in the area.

The place is amazing. The owners are super freaking and make things so easy. If you’re not there when the office is open they make sure to have a way for you to get into your cabin. Definitely would stay there again.

We started the trip with an unexpected visit to the ER (nothing to do with the chalet). Still, all ended up well and we enjoyed spending the rest of the time together listening to music, cooking, and reminiscing. Travel was put on hold but that was okay because we had all the comforts of home. Becci checked to make sure we had what we needed and we felt very pampered.
