Welcome to Glass Valley. Completed in 2021 it's a home designed and built to maximize the magnificent view of the valley below and the mountains beyond. Most people who visit Pagosa Springs want to spend their time outside which you can do here, even when you get home. The partially covered 40-foot-long deck upstairs and 17 foot covered deck downstairs face west so you get to enjoy breakfast or your morning coffee al fresco and when you get home you can enjoy the magnificent sunsets.
Glass Valley is located three miles from Hwy 160 and restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops and more. Another couple of mile drive will get you to downtown Pagosa Springs, the hot springs and more restaurants and shops. Wolf Creek Ski Area is about 20 miles from the house.
Inside you’ll be treated to more of the beautiful view surrounded by soaring ceilings, modern farmhouse décor and furnishings specifically selected to make vacationers feel comfortable and at home. The living room, dining room and kitchen share an open space with over eighteen feet of glass so you can enjoy nature even indoors. In addition, there’s a powder room off of the living area. Every bedroom but one has a terrific view. There are new memory foam mattresses and stylish furnishings in all three of the main bedrooms. The primary bedroom is upstairs where you can step out onto the deck after a great night’s sleep in your king size bed. A gorgeous walk-in shower highlights the bathroom that also has a double vanity. The two main bedrooms downstairs are a guest bedroom with a queen bed and a larger bedroom with a queen bed and a beanbag chair (that has a full mattress inside). These two bedrooms open to a game room which leads to the downstairs deck. The fourth bedroom doubles as a rec room/large TV room with a wet-bar, comfy sectional and a set of twin bunkbeds. An additional full inflatable mattress is available if needed. There are two full bathrooms downstairs, one with separate tub and toilet areas so lots of people can get ready in a hurry.
The home has central heating and air conditioning. Central AC isn't common in Pagosa Springs and makes a big difference in the warmer summer months!
You’ll have full access to the garage which has plenty of room for two good size vehicles and a mud area with ski and snowboard racks as well. There’s also enough space in the driveway to park a couple more cars. Note there’s no parking on the street in the winter (snowplows may need access).
In case you really want to watch the big game or a movie the house has two 70” TVs (living room and rec room) and two 55” TVs (primary bedroom and game room). You can login to your own subscription services to stream whatever you’d like. We have high speed Wifi throughout the house.
Pagosa Springs is an amazing gem of a place close to skiing/snowboarding, hiking, lakes, rivers and of course the famous springs themselves. Wolf Creek Ski Area is known for having the most average snowfall per year in all of Colorado (430 inches per year average!). Most years Wolf Creek is in operation from sometime in October to late March or early April. Pagosa Springs has a small town feel to it but still has a large number of excellent restaurants, some excellent breweries and many of the amenities one expects in a much larger town. The springs, with 24 pools of varying sizes and temperatures (84-114 degrees), is open year-round and a great place to relax in between days on the slopes or hiking. The hiking in the Weminuche and South San Juan Designated Wilderness Areas is truly amazing and during the winter there are a number of groomed trails in the Pagosa Springs area for snowshoeing and cross country skiing. There’s kayaking, tubing, rafting and oh yes – the Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad shouldn’t be missed.
TWO IMPORTANT NOTES - 1. Chains or four wheel drive recommended in the winter - there's a little bit of a slope to the driveway. Our crew does snow removal after a significant snowfall but it may take up to 24 hours for them to get out there. With two wheel drive you may struggle to get out until the snow gets cleared. 2. The owner travels to Pagosa Springs occasionally with his dog. If you have pet allergy issues, check with the host before booking.

This property was great. Everything was clean and there was plenty of room. Micheal was very communicative and check-in/check-out was straightforward.
The property was easy to get to and we were able to be at Wolf Creek within about 45 minutes. The view off the back deck is great and it looks like the back porch and yard would an awesome bonus in warmer months.
This property was perfect! This getaway was a birthday gift to my husband for some much needed R & R. It was everything we wanted; family time, relaxation, rest and fun. Secluded yet only a few miles away from town, restaurants, and hot springs. The home had everything we needed and then some. Michael was so thoughtful with everything. It was so nice to have the small starter items like salt, pepper, coffee, dish washing liquid, to corn hole, boot warmer and benches in garage etc….It was so nice not to have to buy everything for the home when on vacation. We really enjoyed having our coffee on the balcony and breakfast al fresco! The fireplace was warm and cozy for watching tv in the evening. The quiet night and stars were absolutely beautiful, just what we needed.
The beds were so comfortable, after a long day of hiking, we slept like babies. Our teenage boys really enjoyed the downstairs area-the kitchenette, games, the 70” televisions were on point, everything they wanted. Oh, and the garage was great too, our truck fit perfectly- sometimes in can be a tight squeeze depending on the size of garage with our truck, but the garage had plenty of space.
Thanks Michael- your home is beautiful. We look forward to going back.

Thanks so much Edna. I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay! Please come back soon. All the best!
My family and I spent Spring Break week in Pagosa. The Glass Valley home is new and well stocked. I couldn't have designed a better house for a family to stay and enjoy. We enjoyed many meals, including use of the grill, the deck that seems to have endless sunlight, and we spent time as a family playing games in the large kitchen area. We also enjoyed great meals in the town of Pagosa; there are great restaurants close to the home, though the downtown area is not far. We enjoyed the hot springs, escape room, wildlife park and the outdoors. We spent time stargazing on the deck. The beds were so comfortable and the quiet at night (away from city life), was just what we needed. My kids didn't want to leave. Thank you, Mike, for your hospitality and communication to ensure everything was good for us. When we head back to Pagosa we will stay here again.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in the Glass Valley cabin. The cabin was a 10 minute drive to downtown Pagosa and boasted beautiful views, was extremely clean and well cared for. Highly recommend this property!
