The villa features an air-conditioned master suite with a king bed on the upper floor, complete with a full bath, a spacious closet, and a private deck overlooking the stunning vista. The main level features an expansive great room, which seamlessly blends the living, dining, and kitchen areas into one beautifully designed open space with amazing water views.

Freshly painted inside and out, this well-maintained villa offers high-speed WiFi and exceptional outdoor spaces to fully appreciate the breathtaking views and refreshing island breeze. Amazing views with adorable fully equipment villa. Very responsive owner and management to make your stay extra special. Would definitely book again!

Views from the home were spectacular, one of the best on the island. It was nice to come back enjoy the quietness and comfort of the home in upper coral bay. Only downside was when cooking as main part of the house became very hot and uncomfortable at times. Would suggest a unit for that part of the house. Otherwise great stay!!!

This is our third trip to St John. We have stayed at cinnamon bay, and that’s where most of our family stayed. We were very happy with the location, and the open floor plan of Pina Playa. It was a short 10-15 minute drive to Cinnamon Bay. Kristen was very helpful our first night, it was late and after a long day of travel she was so kind to take my son and daughter-in-law to the grocery. The owner was wonderful with her communication as well. We were close to our favorite beaches, and absolutely enjoyed our view with coffee every morning. We do like being right at the beach at Cinnamon Bay, but absolutely enjoyed the convenience of hot showers, and air in the evenings. Our 3 and 6 year old grandchildren loved the donkeys greeting us and sending us off many days, as well as the iguanas in the trees so we could watch them while sitting in the living room. We will be back! Thanks for sharing your house for our wonderful family memories.

Amazing Stay at Pina Playa

Our two families of 3 had an amazing stay here. The location is great- easy to get to all the beaches we love. The Coral bay side of the island is very chill so we love it there. The house was well appointed with everything you need to cook and grill. Kathryn's recommendations on jeep rental in STT and grocery shopping was perfect. She's a great host. Highly recommend a stay here!

Amazing Villa!

Loved this spot! The views are amazing and the villa caretaker went above and beyond! Our flight was delayed and we arrived on island after midnight. She waited for us at a boat dock and made sure we made it to our villa that night. The villa was clean and had everything we needed for an amazing vacation!! Thank you so much. Would definitely book it again:)

Very Accommodating with Breathtaking views

We stayed in Coral Bay Pina Playa for just about a week, this home was so beautiful and accommodating , with everything from beach chairs , coolers, towels, you name it ! etc. The home was very inviting and peaceful, especially the morning sun on the back decks. The rooms are set up very privately and each bedroom having its own bathroom made for a very smooth stay. The manager Kristen was very great with her communication and enjoyable to speak to. Pina was gorgeous.

Great Villa! Amazing view!

We really enjoyed our stay at Pina Playa. The villa had everything we needed including beach chairs and coolers. We loved the location and the view was amazing! Checkin/checkout was a breeze. The property manager met us at the villa, gave a quick overview of the property and left us to it. We’d choose to stay here again!

Perfect location, close to Coral Bay and it's East side markets and restaurants. Amazing views!! Clean and well stocked with beach gear and cooler. Easy (well easy for St. John) drive to the North Shore beaches. Great for 1 to 3 couples. Had a great time!

Coray Bay Retreat

Week in paradise

My wife and I have been to St John annually for over 10 years. We bought a newbie couple here to share the house and had a great time. The amenities for snorkeling and cooking were great. The on site property manager was very responsive to a couple of small situations. Even with two days of rain, we had a great time.

Great stay!

We had a fantastic week on Island, and came back to a relaxing and well equipped home every evening. During the rain day, we kept ourselves busy with things around the home, and were happy to have great cookware, laundry, and very comfortable beds. There is not anything we needed during our trip that was not available at the property. Thank you for having us....we hope to return soon!

We loved everything about this house! The location was perfect, and it was a very comfortable home to stay in for our family of four. Family Time

Myself, my husband, and our two adult children had a wonderful family vacation at Pina Playa Villa. The house was perfect to come home to after a day of snorkeling. Having beach chairs, towels, and coolers to use made going out to the beaches so easy and pleasurable. The house was clean, well equipped and welcoming. the property manager was the best and so helpful. I definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting a St. John vacation.

Perfect Pina Playa

Kristen and Kathryn were wonderful to communicate with and very responsive. We really appreciated having Kristen guide us to the house when we arrived at night. The house had everything we needed, from kitchen items to beach chairs. We appreciated the not steep driveway. But really one of the best parts was the view. Each day we marveled at the incredible view of the coral bay harbor and all of the surrounding mountains.

Best Ever

We can’t say enough about how amazing is Pina Playa! The views off of Canal Bay are incredible. We spent hours on the back porch, in lounge chairs and at a dining table- just soaking it all in. The family and dining room and kitchen all focus on the bay, too, so you can still enjoy it all inside. The patio off the second floor master bedroom is a fun touch. Communication was the best we’ve ever seen during our many vrbo stays. We especially appreciated a book of tips on car rental places, the ferry, where to shop, and what to bring - we followed them to the t and were so glad we did. All the advice made things so easy. The house is well stocked with paper products, spices and such - as well as pots and pans. Check in was so easy - the property manager met us at the house and gave even more tips on everything from driving to the best beaches (Majo and Salt Pond - we saw the full safari of the undersea world, from turtles and parrot fish to rays and families of squid!) and restaurants. Three were super close, and all were fun.The house was so perfect - totally clean, cute, comfortable beds, solar power backup, and ac in the bedrooms. Large fans including overhead and a ton of windows kept the other areas relatively cool even in late July. We hope to go back to Pina Playa for another vacation! It worked so well for our family of four (2 young adult kids).

Relaxing in Paradise

We visited the islands the first week in January with our two grown daughters. What a treat it was staying at Pina Playa Villa! The house is very nice and well appointed. The owner has really thought of every reasonable need a visitor could want during a visit and equipped the house accordingly. The view from the back deck looking over Coral Bay was fantastic! Every morning and every evening it was great to be able to relax and take in the view. This was our third trip to St John and our first time staying on the east side of the island. The Coral Bay side is very relaxed, close to the north shore beaches with just as many amenities in the nearby town. We all really prefer this side of the island having stayed here. Thanks to Kristen and Ernie for their help and for Kathryn for her tips and great communications. Hope to return one day in the not too distant future.

Great Location!

We LOVED Pina Playa! Its location is great for branching out in different directions each day. The driveway is easy to maneuver—a lot easier than most others on the island. The house was just as advertised. It has a gorgeous view of Coral Bay! We really appreciated the clothes line, beach supplies, well stocked kitchen (pans, dishes, etc), lights along driveway and the motion light for when we returned after dark, outdoor shower for spraying off sand, the books about St. John, the washer and dryer, the bright and well lit rooms, the grill, the water bottles when we arrived after a long day of traveling, and the beautiful deck with plenty of seating. The owner, Kathryn, was very helpful when I sent questions about the Island. We also appreciated the property manager leading us to the property since it was dark and it’s sometimes hard to find the house you’re looking for. I will definitely try to rent Pina Playa on my next trip to St. John!

A great house in a great location

This is an excellent property in every respect, and we have been renting in St. John for 30 years. The manager provided excellent advance information and check in was easy. The house layout is thoughtfully designed for guest privacy, with a large primary bedroom upstairs and two ample bedrooms on the lower floor, each with an adjacent full bathroom. The beds were comfortable and a wide variety of pillows was available. Unlike many St. John rentals, this house is easily accessible from the Center Line Road without heroic driving. The kitchen/great room area is well stocked with most of the cookware, dishes, glasses, and utensils that one would want, and it is easy to cook, eat, and clean up. A large variety of beach chairs, coolers, towels, and water gear are available on the wrap-around deck on the main floor. Located above Coral Bay in (we think) the best part of the island, Francis Bay beach is about 15 minutes away, and food shopping and dining in Coral Bay is convenient. All in all, a really good experience.

Growing up in Hawaii, I've always felt a deep connection to the beach. My favorite vacations always involve stunning beaches, which is why over 25 years ago, I fell in love with St. John. What I love most about the island is the peacefulness of the quieter Coral Bay side.

My personal formula for a great vacation includes the 3Bs: Beach, Book, and Beverage. Although I've visited countless incredible beaches throughout the Caribbean, I find a sense of inner peace that's unmatched on St. John. As a former marathon runner, I particularly enjoy the challenging hiking trails that traverse the 60% of the island occupied by the Virgin Island National Park. Don't hesitate to ask me for recommendations!

To me, a perfect day on St. John starts early with a mesmerizing sunrise, followed by a refreshing Colombo smoothie for breakfast. I then embark on a 2+ hour hike to explore the island's breathtaking natural beauty. Afterward, it's time to pack up and head to the beach for an afternoon of relaxation and adventure.

Evenings are best spent enjoying the local cuisine at places like Skinny Legs, Salty Mongoose, or Miss Lucy's in Coral Bay. Or, venture into Cruz Bay and check out the famous Beach Bar, High Tide, Tap Room, or Cafe Roma. For the perfect end to a perfect day, I recommend some live music and a painkiller (or two), or simply stargazing from the comfort of your own deck. Come and experience St. John through my eyes, and I guarantee you'll leave with memories that last a lifetime.
