The cottage is a 3 bedroom one bathroom very cute 1950’s home. Located near the river and local pool and park. Quiet neighborhood. Close to hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, ATV trails and lots more. Quinns hot springs and Symes hot springs each 20 min away. Glacier park 1 1/2 hrs away.

Great Stay!

Not only was the house very well, taken care of, and had the essentials that we needed, but the owner of the property was amazing to chat with! We needed a little something extra for our boat while we were there and she and her husband jumped right on and helped us get what we needed then was so helpful. Would gladly stay again if we made it to Plains again!

Beautiful spot on the river.

Crystal was so accommodating and helpful. The space was well equipped and comfortable.

The place was nice and clean, had no problem communicating with the host, check-in wasn’t a problem. The bathroom was the worst. The entry way to the bathroom is incredibly small, the shower is tight, and there’s no place to put your toiletries. Not sure if it was overdecorated for the Christmas season only, but there wasn’t a lot of room to put our things. We wanted to put things on the dresser and in the drawers but there was very little room on top and the drawers were full. Found the same problem in the bedroom closet that don’t accommodate clothing because it was full of blankets. Additionally, the pillows seemed to be either rock hard or too soft. The kitchen was so well stocked there wasn’t anywhere to put the things we brought. It was nice to be able to use the refrigerator and oven, and the washing machine and dryer got a fair bit of use. Also, the kids section in the living room was amazing and all 3 of the kids loved it. Overall, great location for visiting family but we’ll find somewhere else next time.

The property was easy to find and check in was easy. I’ve never seen a property so stocked with supplies from laundry detergent, medications, towels, toys, baby supplies, etc. My only complaint would be it was listed as air conditioned, but there’s only a small, old window unit in one of the bedrooms and in the living room. The other two rooms had fans, but it was pretty warm. Cool to wake up and go sit by the river though.

Great location, beautiful setting!

The house was really well furnished with everything you might need and a great location. The owners allow guests to use their River access and that was lovely! I would just add screens to the windows to let that fresh Montana air cool the home.

Awesome house!

The house was a perfect base for our family reunion. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was near the park where we spent most of our time and we enjoyed our time there very much. The owner was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to messages.

It was a lifesaver for us.

While it is obvious that the home is older, it was very clean and didn't have any unpleasant or musty odors. The house was well stocked and it was obvious that the owner tried very hard to think of every possible need of her guests. Crystal was a wonderful hostess and very helpful.

If in Plains…

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Crystal and her family made us feel welcome and she had plenty more amenities than she listed. So, if your in Plains or nearby, enjoy a whole house experience right next to the river and conveniences!!
