Knotty Pine offers a great combination of convenience to local attractions while maintaining the comfort, peace and quiet of nature.

Comfortable peace and quiet: Knotty Pine has enough room for the whole family or group of friends, sleeping up to 7 with 3 private bedrooms, and 2 full bathrooms. One bedroom with a King, one with a Queen, and one with a Full and twin trundle bed. The master bedroom includes a HDTV with a full connected master bathroom. The spacious main room is perfect for family or friend gatherings, large dining table, and relaxing couch and TV area. Wifi is freely available, and both TVs are equipped with Netflix and Disney+ for your enjoyment. For the children (or your own inner child), enjoy the foosball table and Wii. Our space also includes typical kid friendly amenities like games, booster seat, pack-n-play, and kid friendly eating utensils. And don't forget the hot tub on the private back patio!

Local attractions: Located less than 10 minutes from downtown Logan, guests are close to the quaint downtown area with local attractions such as Hocking Hills Winery, Lake Logan, and zipline adventures. And Knotty Pine is also a short jaunt from hiking favorites such as Ash Cave, Old Man's Cave, Conkle's Hollow, Rock Stall Nature Preserve, and more.

I loved being away, but yet felt like I was home.

I appreciated all of the surroundings and the cleanliness of the cabin as well as being able to relax and have more than one room available. I would’ve appreciated having laundry soap, maybe just one batch.

We enjoyed our stay at Knotty Pine! Good location between Logan and Hocking Hills State Park. There were grocery stores nearby and cute places to eat and enjoy ice cream. Our favorite pizza was at Pizza Crossing! Yum! We didn’t spend a lot of time at the house, but enjoyed the hottub after two long days of hiking.

We had a great time staying at the Knotty Pine cabin. The cabin was very clean with great amenities. The host was very responsive, accomodating and polite. The location was perfect for everything we had planned. I would definitely book this cabin again in the future.

Place was clean and offered plenty of amenities for activities, comfort, and convenience. My friends and I enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and provided games during our stay. The host was responsive and answered any questions promptly. We enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful time!

The house was very clean. It’s nice that it was all one level. It was nice having a fire pit and hot tub. The best part was the large porch with rocking chairs.

Very homemade decor

It was clean. The kitchen was well supplied. The furniture very comfortable. Loved the huge front porch with all the rocking chairs. The view was amazing every morning and evening. We watch the deer across the road.

We had a fantastic time. We did have an issue with the fridge not cooling but they got it taken care of right away. The kitchen has coffee maker and toaster, along with a crock pot and any pans you may need. They also provide 8-10 towels (may want to bring some extra for the hot tub) the kids had fun with the outside toys and played a little bit on the Wii. Us adults really enjoyed the rocking chairs on the front porch.

Perfect Stay

We loved this cabin for our couples getaway weekend trip. Everything we wanted to do around the area was less than 20 minutes away. The cabin was spacious, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. 10/10 would stay here again.

Pleasant, peaceful weekend getaway

A weekend getaway at Knotty Pines cabin was just what we needed to decompress from our hustle and bustle lives! The check-in process was very simple and easy, and the property itself was well-maintained and clean. The cabin was cozy, but spacious enough to house 6 adults comfortably. The hot tub was clean, albeit small and could accommodate 3-4 people at a time, but overall good. The cabin is about 20 minutes away from the Hocking Hills trails and 30 minutes away from Athens, so it was isolated enough but not too far from other destinations. We all enjoyed our time at Knotty Pines and thank you to Marcus and Julie for providing us a pleasant and peaceful weekend!

The cabin was beautiful and well equipped.

This cabin was very nice and had a homey feeling. Very beautiful. All the annemities are there. I brought a crock pot but there is one there. A Nintendo switch is there along with basic board games and puzzles. The front porch is amazing. The cabin was clean and accommodating. All of us felt like we were at home including my 3 year old granddaughter who didn't want to leave. We will definitely return to this cabin in the fall

Relaxing summer trip

We really enjoyed how clean and updated this property is. Although it a little farther from Old Man’s Cave, its proximity to 33 made accessing some of our favorite parks easier (Rock House, etc.) We also appreciated the peace and privacy this location offers. It was so nice to leave the summer crowds behind!

Very nice cabin. Beautiful building inside/out. Lacked for nothing. Could have used a couple ceiling fans on beautiful front porch in the heat- maybe think of installing someday. Never was able to get the Netflix/Disney channel to work- message kept reading not connected to the internet. But we were there for family and hiking, etc, so maybe a blessing in disguise! Again, very attractive cabin!

Girls trip

My sisters and nieces and I spent 3 days here. We had a wonderful time. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We loved spending our mornings drinking coffee on the front porch rockers. We spent most of our time on the front porch or around the firepit in the back and very much appreciated the ample seating. It's a lovely cabin far enough to be peaceful and quiet but close enough that we didn't have to go far if we needed additional supplies.

Just as advertised

Everything was great just concerned about no fire extinguishers in the home and the sheets on the hideaway couch were not the cleanest. Other than the two items mentioned we really enjoyed our experience.

The property had everything we needed and more.

We booked this cabin/trip for my daughters 12th birthday. It was perfect location to all the popular sites as well as secluded enough for us to just reconnect away from our crazy, hectic lives. Marcus was a pleasure to work with. He communicated promptly and was very professional. I gave a 3 on the adversitment only because, in the pictures it shows a lot of yard games and such and we were disappointed that the majority of the outdoor games and such were in bad shape. The couch could use a bit updating. Not very comfy. Access to a washer/dryer would be icing on the cake. That's honestly my only bit of constructive criticism. Everything else was amazing. Very clean property, prompt communication. Easy to find. Will rent with them again in the future.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This area is very quiet and peaceful, with very little traffic. The road to arrival is tree-lined with beautiful tree canopies overhead - a true sight to see in the fall. There are a handful of year-round neighbors you may see. While you're unlikely to cross paths with them, we request our guests be respectful to them during your stay.

There is easy access to the cabin with a flat short driveway. The roads to access the cabin are usually well maintained, even during winter weather.

As natives of this region, we wanted to pull in art and other unique aspects from the local community. As soon as you pull in, you're greeted by a custom mural, designed by an artist local to central Ohio, and painted by none other than the owners! You'll also notice an entire wall inside the cabin dedicated to local artists and the emerging artistic scene in Logan.
