Our time is pleasant. House amenities are accurate and as described. Host very helpful, friendly and very prompt replying to my inquiries. Place close to shopping, restaurant and grocery stores. had a wonderful stay at this lovely home! From the moment I arrived, everything was clean, cozy, and welcoming. The space was exactly as described—beautifully maintained, thoughtfully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay.The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, yet conveniently located close to shops, restaurants, and anything else you might need. I especially appreciated the small touches—fresh towels, extra blankets, and a well-stocked kitchen, which made it feel like a true home away from home.The host was incredibly kind and responsive, making check-in and communication a breeze. I felt genuinely taken care of throughout my stay.I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

Great value for a 4 bdrm

Place was excellent. Big beds. Looked for booklet with checkout instructions and didn’t find it. If there was one, I missed it, and so did my buddy. If not, then no biggie. Very accommodating, I had an eye issue that came up the day we were supposed to check out. I asked for an extended checkout with very short notice, and the host was happy to give the extra time I asked for. I’d stay here again. Neighborhood was nice and quiet.

Big let down

My husband and I along with four adult kids went down to see the oldest son, which lives in Fairfax. The house was a big disappointment half the items was either broken or really needed to be replaced. We wondered why we did not see outside photos of the house, we know why now, we probably would not have rented it. The downstairs bedroom had no heat just a space heater that did not throw much heat and that was the room which my granddaughters slept. The bathroom that in the laundry room, the sink would leak if you would turn on both cold and hot at the same time. While we were there a package was delivered, which was weird. This house was close to our son/brother but that is the only positive thing I can say about this rental. We drove many hours to all be together during the holidays, and this rental was a huge let down and it was not worth the cost. Over the years we have rented many houses and this was the worst.

Great place in a great location

The property was as advertised. A very nice kitchen well equipped with newish appliances (Samsung). There as a full complement of small appliance - coffee pot, toaster blender, etc. all in good working order. There was a soft spot in the floor by the sink but it didn't affect us. Plenty of room for our family with a nice yard and near a city park. The bathrooms, too, had new fixtures; the downstairs baths were a little cramped but very useable. The beds were OK - a little softer than we like but OK. The only negative is an "old house" smell that wasn't noticeable after a few minutes in the house. It was NOT mold as I am very allergic and I would not have been able to stay there. Fairfax is a nice town - a nice mix of restaurants and shops and handy to the Metro.

Fairfax stay

We arrived at the property just after 4 pm. We were able to enter the property after figuring out two of the numbers were transposed. The property is in a great location near a park and easy walk to town where there are coffee shops and other shops. The property could have been cleaner although the beds had fresh sheets. There was one pillow per person so we requested additional pillows which they dropped off the same day. There were no kitchen towels or paper towels which we also requested. They dropped off one kitchen towel for our week stay with 7 people. The kitchen has a 4 cup coffee pot for an 8 person property. There was no dish soap, only antibacterial hand soap. There is a washer and dryer which allowed us to wash towels and the single kitchen towel during our stay. Before our arrival I asked if there was a hand mixer and baking sheets. They were kind enough to drop off a mixer and new baking sheets. Overall the property manager was responsive but they need to have basic items at the property and do a better job of cleaning.

Great proximity to George Mason University

If you are looking for a modern upto date home beautiful inside and out this is not it. However it is roomy and well equiped with new appliances including outside grill and a nice back yard. The stairs everywhere were a little bit of a challenge for us. As advertised this is an older home and you can tell alot of hard work has gone into making it functional. Having only one TV for 2 floors was also a little inconvenient. I would also recommend a little more organization in the kitchen and maybe a few games or puzzles for entertainment. All in all it served our needs well.

Hospitality at its Best!

Perfect location nearby George Mason University for our family to attend our daughters graduation. Plenty of room for everyone to stay together in one location. Emy was extremely welcoming and kind. Thank you for the hospitality!

Historic Townhome in wonderful location

Great townhome which was upgraded and very comfortable! The owner couldn’t have been more communicative and helpful! We were there for a week to be near our daughter who just had a baby and Emyaish dropped off all kinds of goodies in addition to a giant box of diapers. This is an ideal place to stay with a larger group when you want to visit northern Virginia and DC. Highly recommended and thank you for everything!
