Conveniently located, this fully updated 2BR/2BA one-level second-floor condo is just one block from the beach and only 5 miles from historic downtown Galveston. Enjoy a private balcony with a peekaboo Gulf view. Guest amenities include access to a resort-style swimming pool and hot tub. Complimentary WiFi, cable TV, and a washer/dryer round out your home's essentials. Family-friendly amenities include a Pack ‘n Play, an umbrella stroller, and beach toys. Venture 3 miles to Moody Gardens and Schlitterbahn Waterpark.

THINGS TO KNOW
The parking rate for 1-3 days is $36.70 plus tax ($3.30), a total rate of $40.00. The parking rate for 3 or more days is $45.88 plus tax ($4.12), a total rate of $50.00.
As part of the Extended Stay Program, this property is eligible for a discount on bookings of 30 nights or more.

Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 1 vehicle.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Dream get away

This had everything my family needed for a great beach vacation! Check in and out was easy. Close to the beach and the complex has two pools that are great for families. Have stayed before and will definitely try to stay again.

Beautiful and spacious condo

The condo was beautiful, spacious, and very clean! It was right across from the beach. The pool was nice and not overcrowded! There was plenty of items in kitchen to cook meals if you wanted to. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again!

Great Stay!

This was our second time staying at the Dawn Condominiums, a different unit though. Location is great! It's right across the seawall, a short walk to the beach.. the 2 pools are great and pretty much always maintained. The condo was very clean, but did notice the a/c vents need to be cleaned, as well as a stand alone fan in the master closet. Everything was provided, but depending on the length of your .stay, you will need to buy additional paper towels, toilet paper, etc... My family of 4 was very happy with our trip .We would love to stay Anson!againarmed getaway. c........vent

Will continue to stay here

So this is our second time staying in this exact condo and our fourth time staying at the dawn! So needless to say we love it! This specific condo is always very clean and was already very cool when we arrived. The beds are all comfortable, they provide so many amenities, And it feels very homey! The only two issues we had was the washing machine was unbalanced so it was difficult to wash a load of clothes. There was also a slight issue with the icemaker in the refrigerator, as it was very slow, and the water came out very slow. But those are two pretty small issues and overall we love this condo and love the dawn! The grounds on the dawn are always immaculate, and the pools are wonderful! We had an amazing time and I would advise anyone to stay here!

Great location and home

Couldn’t have asked for a better location! Beach on one side and Walmart on the other. Great restaurants decently close. Wish the pools were heated, they were colder than the ocean! Would stay here again!

Excellent condo

If your looking for a great location, well decorated condo on the seawall, then The Dawn is the place to stay. The owner keeps the condo in tiptop shape and was great at communication. i would recommend this condo to any family.

Great time

Cannot say enough about how wonderful this condo was!! It was so clean when we arrived and they provided so many basic items to use! We were able to set the temperature to what we wanted which was great! Many condos lock it to a set temperature. Both showers were wonderful and huge!! The condo had a great view of the pool and the ocean! It is on the second floor, the description was confusing on this. We will always stay at The Dawn. The grounds are so well kept and the pools are awesome. The parking for this condo was easy as well!! No complaints at all!!

Just about everything was perfect at this property. Easy to get in and out. Plenty of space and clean conditions. Only complaint is a number of entry way and living room overhead lights and some bedroom lamps didn’t work properly.

Great place in Galveston

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is a great place to stay in Galveston Pros: Very Clean Excellent location <5 minute walk to the beach Nice pools All necessary kitchen equipment Great shower in master! TV with Netflix and all basic cable channels Very nice deck with partial view of ocean Walmart right across the street Cons: There wasn’t any hand soap provided. During a pandemic this is unacceptable. (I left a bottle for the next guests) The AC drips into the guest bath which is annoying You have to pay $30 for parking Pro tip: make sure to pack your own body wash, detergent, coffee, and hand soap We will stay here again if we come back this way. Overall it was a very nice condo and you can’t beat the location. My kids loved it!

Unit access technology was really bad for us.

I'll start with the good/great! -Unit is bigger than we expected from pics - access to the beach is shorter and easier than expected -the view to the ocean was better than the "peakaboo" view the owners told us. We saw a lot of ocean/gulf. Pool view is awesome! -Turnkey management company was good in that they responded to all of my 10 calls within seconds of my call. - Here is my 2 star, negative rating: *The door access lock system was a complete failure *I'm a technology guy and got locked in/out 10 times *when I say, "locked in" what I mean is that I could not lock the unit when we were leaving. *when I say "locked out" what I mean is that I had to call for a new code to access the unit. -The first time we could not lock the unit, I stayed at the place while my wife and 3 kids went to the beach. Carlos, who was great, said he would be there in 15 mins. 45 mins lateer he showed up. Then he had to change the door lock, which he said would take 10 mins...45 mins later, he left with my blessing, while I was still on the phone with TurnKey, and while my wife was texting me asking "how much longer" while she was a the beach with our 7, 5, and 3 year olds. When we got back, we were able to get in but were not able to leave and lock again...that time, I called TurnKey, texted and called Carlos and got in touch with Turnkey but heard nothing from Carlos...3 hours later I took my 7 and 5 year old to the pool while my wife and 3 year old napped. At about 5pm I got a call from another TurnKey person that said he was able to access the unit and I didn't need to come back but he was in the unit and couldn't find a problem with the lock. MY WIFE AND SON WERE ASLEEP IN THERE...he didn't call me or text me to let me know he was there! I was downstairs at the pool! I offered to come up and he said not to, which made me uncomfortable...so I took my 7 and 5 year old girls and went to the unit...he was outside on the phone and seemed happy to see me. He showed me that the lock was working, I agreed, he left. That night we came back and, surprise, we couldn't get in. I'll spare the remaining details, suffice it to say that while we live in a fully automated connected home, we will not stay in a rental unit that has a smart lock until the company that manges that gets their act together. My advice to the owners, We loved your condo, loved everything about our trip, we just had such a bad experience not being able to get in or lock on the way out

Really enjoyed our stay. The place is right across from the beach. The apartment was clean and had a lot of included household items. TV’s worked fine, shower water pressure was therapeutic, and patio overlooking the pool was nice. Location is right next to the Walmart. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Nice condo but has some opportunities

When we stayed, the property manager was extremely unresponsive. We tried to submit requests for a couple of work orders, including the master bathroom toilet not working and the back door not locking. It took over 12 hours for a generic response to come back and that was only after I followed up. Disappointed in Vacasa. additionally there were some cleanliness opportunities. The kitchen was extremely disorganized and cabinets were dirty. The home was decorated nicely and definitely has potential but seems like it isn’t being cared for. Additionally, one of the pools was extremely cloudy and dirty and had algae growing on the side. The other pool seemed to be better kept.
