Dream Lake House

This is a wonderful 5 bedroom / 4 bath lake house that sleeps between 14 to 16 people on Castle Rock Lake awaiting your stay. This log home has a spectacular view of a peaceful bay on Castle Rock Lake. Your family will enjoy spending your vacation getaway in the setting of this home- with its waterfront conservancy path softly covered in a natural layer of pine needles and pine cones, including the fresh scent of the swaying white pines overhead.

This wonderful lake house boasts a high cathedral great room with gas stone fireplace and many high windows to take in the beauty and serenity of this natural view. This open-concept main level living area includes the kitchen with breakfast bar, dining room and walk out to the back deck. There are two bedrooms on this ground level...the master bedroom with master bath (separate shower and jet tub) and another bedroom with pocket door access to the adjoining hall bath.

On the upper level is a pleasant sitting area overlooking the great room, full bath and 2 more bedrooms. The lower level offers a large carpeted entertaining room, wet sink counter bar , extra dining area, futon and a full bath. Also, another queen bedroom with additional twin bunk. A community pier to use for your boat. The perfect home to enjoy a 4-seasons of central WI and to make your own lasting memories at this Wonderful Castle Rock Lake house.

This was such a nice house. The location was great, house size was perfect and so close to the water. It was nice to have a dock for the boat we rented too. A short, relaxing walk through the pines to get to it. Only thing We needed was more towels, but with a washer and dryer on site it worked out fine. The house does only sleep 13, there wasn’t an additional futon that the listing mentioned, but the spaces worked for our family. The only way it would sleep more is with an air mattress. There could also be an extra fridge in the lower level. Otherwise everything was perfect.

This property was wonderful. The house is big and spacious with plenty of room for my entire family. We loved the layout of the house and that we could fit so many of us together without feeling cramped. The outside area was great with plenty of seating around the fire pit. The dock is a short walk away through a path. The picture of the dock makes it seem like the dock is right in front of the house but it is not. We all had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend this property to anyone

Castle Rockin on the 4th

Eddie, the host, responded very promptly for every question we had. There was plenty of room in the house and loved that the air conditioning was strong when we arrived.The check-in process was a little inconvenient, because once we got into the area none of us had service, so I couldn't retrieve the check-in procedures. Maybe provide the procedures 48 hours in advance.Location was perfect. And it was a great stay.

Family weekend getaway

We had a great time at this beautiful home. It was spacious, clean, relaxing. Nested in the perfect spot, every morning you can see the water glistening as you enjoy your cup of coffee. The pier was just steps away and the kids enjoyed canoeing every day we were there and fishing.

Great stay at this Friendship lake house!

We had a great time at this lake house for our family Thanksgiving weekend, plenty of dinnerware and cookware, expandable table to seat a family of 10. This house is a beautiful place with calming water view/ lake access, with lots to do for families. Eddy was a wonderful host and made check in easy. The home is very clean, beds comfortable, and there is plenty of room to enjoy games inside and out, super cozy with great amenities. We enjoyed the outdoor and evenings at the fire pit. I'd happily stay again and highly recommend this property!

What a wonderful time we had staying at your beautiful log home ! The only thing that would of made it better would of been a better boat dock for the guys to fish off of !! We enjoyed the evenings around the firepit !!

Family Vacation

Great location for a family vacation! There were 12-14 of us and plenty of room for everyone. Short walking distance to pier. Water near shoreline was green and smelly, but lake was nice. Suggest listing the amenities upfront.

Wonderful Family Vacation!

Our family had a fantastic time! We had up to 16 people for parts of 7 nights, including 7 kids ages 10-4. Property was spotless on check-in, Eddie the owner was very responsive to inquiries via texting. The house is sparsely furnished which was great with our young kids as no fear of breaking anything. The yard is large and we were able to play lots of games outside. Having a dock close by with boat lift was nice. Kitchen is well furnished, we cooked many meals, the gas stove shown in the picture would have been preferred (electric stove on site). Overall, we had a great time and plan to go back next year! Some suggestions to the new owner to make the place even better than it already is: Provide enough towels for 16 people; provide more dish soap-dish washer soap-toilet paper-garbage bags-laundry detergent - we ran out of these things within about 3-4 days; provide back-up propane for grill - we ran out and had to run to gas station mid-cooking; a second fridge or at least a beverage fridge in basement would be helpful to accommodate up to 16 people.

Family gathering

The cabin was very spacious and clean inside. The kitchen was equipped with pots, pans, plates, cutting boards and any utensils we needed. The outside had a great fire pit and chairs and kayaks. The cabin was in a beautiful setting in the pine trees. The only 2 things I would suggest to update-The front door & lock as difficult to open at times. The couch and chairs sit very low for taller individuals and difficult to get out. We had a great time with our family and enjoyed our time in this cabin. Eddie was very good about getting back to me with questions. Thanks so much.

Nice cabin by the lake with plenty of space

My friends and I had a great time staying at this cabin. There was plenty of golf, boating, and bar/restaurants in the area. I would definitely recommend this place for large groups to reconnect.

It was a perfect location and space for our annual golf trip.

Easy to reserve through Vrbo and the communication with the property contact was quick and simple and the check out procedure was printed out and on the fridge. The overall process was flawless. We’d do it again in a heartbeat.

Peaceful Pines Vacation

Beautiful log home on large, flat lot. Smelled like Christmas from all the pine trees! Plenty of room for our party of 10. Eddie was great at getting back to messages. Some constructive criticism...house could use more table lamps & wall art, hooks in bathrooms, cover boxsprings on beds, tv and king bed in master bedroom would be nice, add amenity list on listing, no binder with house info/rules. Description of house is pretty accurate. View of lake is beautiful, but definitely no swimming or access right at the property. You need to walk past 2 other homes and down graveled steps to get to the shared pier...about a 5 min walk. Path is lined with pine trees and is almost flat. Nice walk. Home is off a quiet road...no traffic sounds. Overall nice stay.

Beautiful cabin in the woods

This property is amazing. I can't say enough about the layout. Our group consistented of 4 families and all groups had plenty of space. The bed were comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped. The peir situation was great. It is a shared dock which can be difficult to figure out which peir is the correct one to use, but overall it wasnt too diffult. Added bonus was the pontoon lift which was very nice and easy to use. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Property

The cabin was perfect. Clean, quiet outdoors. Pier was a big plus, 5 min walk from property, was able to tie my Jetski to pier. Fishing was great. 2 huge catfish. Kids and adults had great time with bonfires. We seen deer, beaver, Turkey, blue jays. Owner was very responsive to questions.
