Two bedroom and hot tub with lake views!

Thank you. For those reading these reviews. This is the smaller of two homes we have on the property. In the summer we rent it out with the big home, however we have had so many people (that have rented from us in the past) reach out and ask if they could rent the small home, we decided to list it. This is the home our kids fight for when we go up for a week each summer, it has a private deck, new appliances, a great bathroom, and the living room has plenty of seating for them (and the friends they always bring). There are two homes on the property, however both have a hot tub and plenty of space for you to enjoy your stay. The shower in this home along with the cement countertops were done by a very good family friend, it really turned out nice. We will continue to make small improvements to this home to make sure your say is relaxing and enjoyable... If you're looking to get away for a few days at a reasonable rate - this house is a great choice. Lakeshore-retreats.com

Thanks for the nice review. For those reading these reviews the heating element went out on the hot tub. We have since fixed it. This is a great home for a smaller group or to get away with your family.

Thank you for the nice review. We let the builder get creative with this home and he did an amazing job with the bathroom (walk in shower) and kitchen (cement counter tops). This is a great home if you want to get away for a long weekend.

Given this was a three star review as the owner I wanted to offer an explanation There are two homes on the property. In the summer we only rent them together. However in the winter I have had more then a dozen people who have rented both homes ask if they could rent only the smaller house. That is the short version of why we offered to separate the homes off season. The home sits directly behind the big house, you still have a great view of the lake from the hot tub or deck/living room area. About five years ago I completely remodeled this house. The bathroom and kitchen are amazing - my tile guy did a really nice job. End of summer we put a new sofa upstairs (not in the pictures) and currently we are repainting the entire home and putting new flooring in the upstairs. This is my second home. Meaning I have owned it for 20 plus years and have only been renting it out for the last 6-7 years (we simply don’t use it). I treat it as my second home…. Meaning we keep it up to date, invest in making it nicer…. If you rent this home as a stand alone you are sharing the game room and lake with the big house (if someone is there) however you have your own hot tub. The pictures on the website show the big house and how the properties are laid out. You will live this home!

To anyone reading this review please note that our cleaning crew did miss a coffee filter. However we quickly responded and apologized sincerely while offering compensation for the inconvenience. We have received hundreds of 5 star reviews across multiple properties and this is a very rare occasion for our crews. In our description we do state that the bathroom and living rooms are on different floors and that there is another home on the premises. The home featured fiber net internet which is extremely fast. You can use this to stream any shows, movies or use the internet as much as you’d like. After this stay we also updated the living room furniture to ensure that our guests have a comfortable stay. While she did not stay with us her husband stayed for the weekend even after she left. He enjoyed spending time in port sanilac, fishing and relaxing for the weekend. He shared with us he enjoyed his stay. Update. I just called the folks staying in this house last night to make sure all was good. There response. “We love it Frank, the house is exactly as we expected, my husband and son are in the hot tub right now”. We really do our best to make your stay enjoyable. At times we will miss something, however we have a couple people who live very close that will drop what they are doing to make your stay a great one. 11/16/22 Frank

Thanks for your review. For those reading these reviews, this is actually the guest house for the main lake house we have on the water. The location is awesome, the bathroom and kitchen are tiled and very cool.... we have new floors scheduled to go in the summer of 2022 (this year). Private hot tub, balcony overlooking the water, full washer/dryer, walk in 6 by 6 shower, you will love it. During the summer we went the two homes together, however in the off months we rent them separately as the big house is 5 bedroom and more expensive than some people want to pay. The property and proximity to the lake is awesome, you can throw a tennis ball underhand into the water. You will enjoy falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves hitting the shore....
