Located directly on the Iron Belle Trail and Trail 2, and just minutes from downtown Ironwood and Hurley, this trail front home sleeps up to 11 and includes all the essentials for comfort and productivity.

Conveniently located near the Ironwood Hospital, local shops, restaurants, and the best outdoor access in the western U.P. The SISU Shack is your all-season home base in Michigan’s Northwoods perfect for extended stays, rotating work crews, or month-to-month rentals.

✔ Open‑concept kitchen with full cookware, utensils, and appliances
✔ Comfortable living area with seating, flat‑screen Smart TV, and high‑speed internet
✔ Fenced backyard ideal for pets or outdoor relaxation

Sleeping arrangements include:
✔ Bedroom 1 - 1 Queen bed
✔ Bedroom 2 - 1 Full bed
✔ Bedroom 3 - 2 Full beds
✔ Bedroom 4 - 1 Full bed + 1 Twin bed
✔ Upstairs Common Area - 1 Full-size futon

Additional fees & requirements:
✔ Rental Agreement & ID Verification - A signed rental agreement and a valid ID upload from the booking guest are required.
✔ Security Deposit Hold - A $500 hold will be placed as a refundable security deposit.
✔ Early Check-In / Late Check-Out - Available upon request, pending availability. Each is offered for a $30 fee and must be arranged in advance.
✔ Additional Guests - $10 per night for each guest beyond 4.

Adequate for our needs

Nice fenced area for the dogs. House was cozy and fit our needs. Requested the screen door to be fixed and never completed. Limited supplies, sign saying use their laundry pods - empty. TV remote had no batteries, most TV apps required subscription including Netflix (said to be provided). The HVAC is very noisy, ducts banging every time it starts and stops. According to the website Redfin, this property was sold on June 6, 2025 which was prior to our stay. If this is true, it could explain why necessary amenities were not available and we had to purchase batteries, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry pods, etc.
