Beautiful Farmhouse on 80 Picturesque Acres

Turn of the century 4 bedroom 2 bath charming farmhouse, that has been lovingly restored. Set in Kimball WI, this farmhouse sits on 80 acres of rolling pastures and old growth hardwoods. Experience the peace and serenity when you stay in this spacious, renovated four-square farmhouse located three miles west of Hurley. This home is perfect for family gatherings, family reunions or relaxing vacations. Enjoy watching the wildlife activity in the apple orchard as you sip your morning coffee on the beautiful front porch. Both children and adults will enjoy outdoor activities in the large back yard which also included a picturesque farm pond and the beautiful view that awaits you on the top of the property . In the winter try cross-country skiing or snowshoeing through the fields and woods.

You will enjoy preparing meals in the spacious new country kitchen, or relaxing in the large open living room. When its time for bed you can retire in one of the large bedrooms.

The Farm House is centrally located close to all the recreation activities that the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin has to offer. It is close to the ski hills, Biking trails, snowmobile trails, Lake Superior, waterfalls, cross country skiing/snowshoeing and Copper Peaks . Whether you are looking for excitement or relaxation it is all yours when you stay at the Farmhouse.

Please note that this is still a working farm, once a year between late June and early July we cut and harvest the hayfield. If you have any questions about this please let us know.

Long weekend in Northern Wisconsin

A group of friends stayed at the farmhouse. It was cozy and well stocked. We enjoyed sledding down the slope in the meadow and doing some snow shoeing on the property. Thanks Dan!

Cute Farmhouse

We were enchanted by this beautiful farmhouse. It was the perfect, quiet spot to end our daily site seeing. We enjoyed coffee on the porch and the bedrooms were comfy and cozy.

The property is exactly how outlined. Very clean and beautiful farmhouse. Great location to many ATV trails in the surrounding areas. We recommend and would stay again if in the area.

Amazing

We have stayed in many VRBO rentals. This was superior, so comfortable! Clean and stocked with everything we could need. We were welcomed with fresh fruit and cookies, just to get us off to a good start. Easy access to the beautiful waterfalls and parks of the north. We will be back!

Terrific country farmhouse

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Farmhouse. The house was clean, warm and welcoming. We came to cross country ski at ABR and the house was a great place to come back to. Beautiful kitchen. Lot's of room to relax and eat. Two bathrooms. Four bedrooms. It was very quiet out in the country and we all slept great. It really felt like we were stepping back in time and visiting a farmhouse from a different era, albeit one with updated bathrooms and kitchen. Thanks for opening this place up for visitors!

Ski Trip

We stayed here when we were in the area to ski at Powderhorn and Snowriver. It's the perfect location for this as it was a short drive to each ski hill. We also did some snowshoeing on the property which was fun even though we couldn't find the trail with the recent snowfall. There is a large wooded area and also an open field with small hills that could be good for sledding. The property is very scenic and quiet. The house was clean and exactly like the photos. The kitchen had everything we needed. The only improvement I can think of is to have an empty cupboard to put groceries. The home was decorated very nicely with a farmhouse theme. The beds were comfortable too. Check-in and check-out was very easy, not a lot of chores to do before leaving. The owner's son takes care of the property and was able to help us get the Packers playoff game on the TV and responded quickly to questions. He also plowed out the driveway for us too. Overall great experience, we would stay here again when we return to this area.

A beautiful gem, with terrific hosts

This farmhouse is beautifully restored and able to maintain its original charm. We all fell in love with the place and didn't want to leave when our time was up. We all agreed that in the years we have vacationed together, this was our favorite place by far. Beautifil and comfortable.We utilized the farmhouse as our home base as we explored the attractions of the area. We went on a boat tour of the Apostle Islands, saw waterfalls, ate fresh fish from Lake Superior, and even found a "Yupper" light rock on Superior's shore. A wonderful trip and a wonderful house with exceptional hosts. We are most grateful to Daniel and family for sharing the place.

32 days in Wisconsin

Lots of space, maybe too much shelf decor in the kitchen as we needed room for food when living there for a month. Host always responded quickly to questions. We hated to leave the cool weather and go back to triple digits in Texas.

Great Time!

We visited family, took hikes, and walked the property. It was a great visit and we really enjoyed the farmhouse. It was warm and welcoming. I would love to come back in warmer months to enjoy the front porch.

As described and just what we needed

We used the farmhouse as our base camp for a long weekend to explore the waterfalls of the area. Perfect distance to those we explored and a comfy old home to come back to. It's a typical old farmhouse and not perfect by any means but certainly as described. Communication was perfect and check in easy. Wish we would have had more time to explore on site and enjoy the firepit but time and weather didn't allow. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Country Getaway

Wonderful property in a perfect location for a Lake Superior getaway. We were looking for a home base to explore from the Porcupine Mountains to the Apostle Islands and this was a delightful find! Super cozy and comfortable farmhouse with updated spaces and plenty of room for our family of four. Enjoyed cooking in the kitchen (well stocked pots, pans, utensils, spices, basics...), eating together at the large table and having a bonfire outside. Gorgeous rolling farmfields to look at, comfortable beds, tons of fluffy linens and lots of books if you didn't bring one. It gave us a glimpse of slower times in a bygone era and a few days to capture that dream for ourselves!
