Lovely 4BR/2BA Home! Less Than 10 Minutes to Downtown Charleston & Folly Beach

Our lovely 4 bedroom/2 bath home is perfectly located in the heart of the James Island neighborhood. Drive 10 minutes to Downtown Charleston and 8 minutes to Folly Beach.

The 1510 square foot single-level home has four bedrooms and two full bathrooms.

The master bedroom has a king size bed and an attached private bathroom. Another bedroom has a king, and the two others have queens. There are multiple mirrors throughout, including two full length mirrors.

We provide clean linens and towels, and the home is professionally cleaned between stays.

The kitchen is fully stocked and includes everything you may need, including dishes, serving bowls, pots, pans, etc. The kitchen has lovely bar seating that opens up to the dining room, where we have a farmhouse style wood table.

You can use the free washer and dryer, as well as the excellent WiFi. In the living room there is a large TV into which you can plug in your own devices (e.g. Roku, Firestick, etc).

The backyard is very private and has a fire pit you are welcome to use. There is a delightful front porch with large chairs that are perfect for sitting back and relaxing.

The neighborhood is wonderful - it is quiet, peaceful and has very little traffic going by.

You are welcome to bring up to 2 cars and park in the driveway. There is no room for RVs, buses, trailers, etc.

No parties or loud music/noises. Our home is in a very quiet neighborhood. You can bring up to 2 cars. This is a strict limit - no exceptions.
There is a firepit you can use, but you must follow the fire safety rules we post at the house. If you'd like a copy beforehand please message us.
The yard has a drainage ditch that can fill with water. The yard also has uneven dirt. Children must be supervised, and only go if you're sure-footed.

Girls trip was great!

Loved this house. Plenty of room for 6 people. We were disappointed that we couldn’t use the fire pit in the evenings. Location was great for us.

Nice quiet house 10 min to Folly Beach

This was a great place for 3 couples. It is close to Folly and there are lots of grocery stores and restaurants nearby. It is a very quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed relaxing on the front porch and being visited by the neighborhood cats.

Just right!

Our group of four friends enjoyed this charming house in a quiet neighborhood. It was only 15-20 minutes from downtown Charleston and convenient to restaurants and grocery stores. Having four bedrooms was great for us.

Great Set Up

I stayed with some friends at this location for three nights. We were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations and enjoyed the ample space. Perfect spot for a few graduate students to set up and work while on a field study. Clean, nice, and great location. We were about a 12 minute commute to the Battery. Would recommend!

Golf at Kiawah

Had four guys go down to play a round of golf at Kiawah Island. Had a round scheduled the next day on our way back home so we needed a place to stay for the night. The residence fit our needs wonderfully. Clean and comfortable. Communication was good and information was timely. May be back in March! Thank you for the Hospitality!

This was a horrible, dirty guest who could not figure out a keypad, despite literally having instructions in from of him and us on the phone. His comment about a “questionable” neighborhood is nonsensical - go book a hotel next time. Unfortunately every host has to deal with horrific guests like this sometimes. Onwards and upwards.

This home had all the little things to make your stay more comfortable. Shampoo, body wash, hand soap, dish soap, and the list goes on. We enjoyed our stay but never really figured out the TV. We don’t have any on line accounts to sign into. We really enjoyed our stay. House was clean.

4th of July Family Vacay

We absolutely love the area this house is in! It is super convenient to supermarkets and restaurants. It was close enough to Charleston without being in the heart of the city and less than a 15 drive to Folley Beach. We booked this house to attend a family reunion in Charleston. Can't say enough good things about the Charleston area. My family and I have been there several times and it's one of our favorite places to visit in South Carolina. This house had plenty of room for my entire family of 4 adults, 1 teen and 1 pre-teen. It was well stocked with plenty of towels, dishes, and other supplies. They even had things that you wouldn't except to have available in a rental home. The bedrooms had plenty of space for everyone. We would definitely recommend and stay at this property again.

Cute and Close

The property was super close to everything! Walmart, grocery stores etc. 10 min drive to Folly Beach on the back roads and 20mins into town. The road is located in a quiet space. Motion light detector in the backyard was near the master bedroom and was a little hard to fall asleep especially if there was a cat wandering around. Otherwise every night we slept peacefully. The house was pretty hot when we go there and took about 12hrs or so to cool down. The owners were super responsive and friendly. We loved our morning coffee and enjoyed the showers after a long day on the beach. The house was so clean and comfortable.

The home itself was nice and worked out for my needs. The description said the kitchen was fully stocked, I didn't cook while I was there but I did look for some salt and there wasn’t any along with enough coffee to make about a half pot. Not a huge dilemma. I would mention the property said no pets, but my granddaughter who is allergic grabbed one of the blankets and it smelled clearly like a dog, but it was only the only like that. I just put it outside until I had time to wash it. I did not reach out to the host regarding any of it, we did not spend much time there I just need to find somewhere to stay to attend a family wedding and the home fit my criteria,. The property is I feel in a convenient location, the neighbors were pretty loud and active at night though hopefully they were just other rentals Over all pretty good, more bathing towels would be helpful
