Northwest Florida is home to two distinctly different world-class beach vacation destinations. The first is Destin – filled with excitement, family attractions, shopping, dining, fishing, vibrant nightlife and, of course, white sand beaches. The other is South Walton – home to the same breathtaking beaches but with greater focus on the preservation of nature and with intentionally less development. Miramar Beach is positioned between Destin and South Walton, making it the ideal destination to experience the best of both worlds. While the draw of its neighbors is strong, visitors of Miramar Beach may choose not to leave this oasis. Perfectly situated between the Gulf of Mexico and the Choctawhatchee Bay, fishermen and water sport enthusiasts will have plenty of options to indulge here. Off the water, guests will enjoy shopping at the nation’s largest designer outlet mall – Silver Sands Premium Outlets. In addition to Silver Sands, other premier shopping and entertainment options include Grand Boulevard and Baytowne Wharf. Fresh seafood eateries are scattered throughout Miramar Beach and the famed Scenic Gulf Drive offers several locations with exceptional beachfront dining.

Great place to stay.

My friend and I enjoyed the view of the ocean from the patio and the living room area. The location was wonderful for restaurants and walking areas.

Perfect

The location and unit were perfect. There is a great view of the beach from the deck. Easy elevator access. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. The unit was clean and well-supplied. Definitely will stay again.

Main Sail

This property was well represented and perfect for our vacation. Simple not luxurious. We were there for the beauty of the beach not the condo. Don’t misunderstand me. It had all the basic necessities we needed. We will be coming back.

High hopes!

We had high hopes for this property, but our expectations quickly plummeted as we stepped inside. A musky odor lingered from the moment we entered, and the overall cleanliness was far from satisfactory. We discovered several dead roaches and, during our stay, found urine stains on the mattress protector when we removed the sheets to wash them. Despite the subpar cleanliness, the property’s stunning view and ideal location made it a worthwhile experience. I reported our findings to the property management, who assured us that they were scheduled for a deep clean and hoped to address the problem. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this property for another stay.

Not the room for me

Great location.. needs lots of updates.. both patio doors need fixed hard to open and close.. shower needs work .. did not smell clean.. i myself will not be staying in mainsail 154 again way over priced for this room there was a few things that had to be fixed after we got there so we went to the beach came back and a knife and a pocket knife and flashlight was gone of the counter .. beds was awful

Old condo but nice view

We arrived a day late due to my son getting sick. The condo was clean. It’s old and had been “remodeled” but there was a lot of maintenance that needed to be done. The view from our balcony was beautiful. We arrived late at night, and the lighting and directions for parking was poor. The condo was advertised as coming with two parking spaces. We assumed that meant we would get the owner’s spaces, but no! You’ll get towed there! There was no visible signage for the building numbers, no signage for where to unload, where the elevators were, or anything like that. The old bathtub in the master bath was very slick. My husband almost fell getting out of the shower. The inside door handle to the master bath fell off every time we used it. The master bed was comfortable, it the guest bed was squeaky. The kids could t roll over without it making noise. Overall not a bad stay, but I’m picky, and it’s not quite what I had hoped for in a premier host.

Extremely overpriced. Read the reviews before you book.

I made the mistake of rushing to book this property before thoroughly reading the reviews. Because I definitely regretted booking it after I read them. The reviews are VERY accurate. The unit has a very old smell. Which makes sense, because it is dated. Think Best Western vs Hyatt. I've visited for years and this is the most dated unit I've stayed in. And ironically one of the most expensive. This unit is in a great location. But that is literally the only thing that remotely justifies the cost. We were comfortable. A/C is in great working order. And the bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable. We did not use the second room. The sink in the master bathroom drained really slowly. The shower/tub/commode has poor lighting. But the water pressure was good. We didn't use the TVs bc they were rather dated (3 remotes to control one TV) I do agree with other reviews, the doors to the balcony were extremely difficult to use, so we didn't get a chance to use as much as we wanted just because of the hassle. There was a used wash cloth in the shower. The base board were scuffed and old. There's no secondary locking feature so I strongly recommend bringing a security bar or wedge. There were a few mornings we had hard, aggressive knocks at the door. Probably just kids. I recommend this property only if they reduce their nightly rate. We enjoyed the free chair service. Hunter was great. Covered parking was nice. The gate guard was really nice. stayohverdareditslooks likr

Condo needs a lot to be desired

Great beach view, but this condo was worse for the wear. The furniture was right out of Goodwill. The living room furniture was stained and dirty; had to cover it with clean sheets to sit on it. Needless to say we didn’t use it. Kitchen furniture seats were stained, paint chipped and generally in bad shape. Walls and baseboards in desperate need of paint. Walls still had nails in them where picture used to hang above the master bedroom bed and kitchen. Baseboards and walls were filthy. Master bathroom towel rod was semi detached from the wall. Couldn’t hang towels on it. Master bedroom closet door was broken on the left side. The kitchen faucet handle gushed water at the base on the countertop when in use. Several of the electrical outlets in the living room and bedroom did not work. Even the coffee maker was cheap and difficult to use - I mean really - just buy a decent coffee maker! Typically we really enjoy our VRBOs but this one is not up to their typical standards. Very disappointed this condo was even allowed to be listed with them. Will not go back. We didn’t allow the poor shape of the condo ruin our vacation, just made the best of a sub-par condo and spent as little time as we could inside. We thought about contacting the property management company, but knew there would be nothing they would do. Again, this condo needed to meet some basic minimum standards before VRBO listed it.
