Located in the Sandhill Townhomes. Partial Ocean View. 4 bedroom/3.5 bathroom, Dogs OK.

A Shore Thing is located in the Sandhill Townhomes just off 11th St. This beautifull 3 story 2500 sq ft townhome boasts 2 large decks with partial gulf views for amazing sunrises and stunning sunsets This townhome is close to the beach and town. The beach is a quick walk away. The garage is available for guests use. The Sandhill Townhomes has a shared pool with BBQ area. This townhome is located in the golf cart approved driving area.

We are also dog friendly. When booking please let us know if you are bringing dogs so that we may adjust your balance. $125 per dog, 2 dogs max. We accept all size dogs.

This property requires a $500 damage deposit check upon arrival.

This is a self catering property. We give you a start up supply of trash bags, toilet paper, dish soap and hand soap. This will most likely not be enough for your entire stay.

Even though the system may let you book this property, all reservations must and will be submitted to the owner of the property for final approval. Names and ages will be required for all reservations. Also, on the day of check in, only the named person on the reservation will be permitted to check in at our office. ID and Credit Card will be verified upon check in. NO Exceptions..


We do not allow parties or large groups. We aim to remain family friendly.

Mixed review

Pros: Good location, spacious house, two master rooms with lots of bathrooms, lots of beds, nice view of the ocean and balcony space, garage parking availability, and friendly management. Cons: You have to go check in first at an office to get your code instead of it being texted to you. The house needs a deep cleaning. Crumbs in children’s bed, dirty dishes and oven, dust on light fixtures and stairs, air vents need cleaning, floors didn’t appear clean, low shower pressure, smell in closets and first floor, and the beds were not comfortable.

Family Time

My husband and I rented this for a family vacation with children and grandchildren. We had everything we needed for cooking. The house was very comfortable. Location is awesome - short walk or short drive to the beach. It was so nice to sit on either balcony and see a partial view of the water.

Family Gathering in Port A

This home was a wonderful gathering spot for a family vacation. We had family members of all age ranges and 2 large dogs, and the home provided plenty of space for us to spread out while still enjoying each other’s company.

Quick family vacation

This unit was clean and had some nice upgrades. Check in was super quick and easy as well. Highly recommend this unit.

Family vacation 2023

The property was great, location was great Housekeeping could have been better, examples: outdoor furniture with coffee stains, shower with long brown hair on bench on arrival ( can show you pictures). I’m gray and short husband has short black hair. There was a horrible smell, just barely on arrival but as Friday went on it increased first just first floor but moved to second floor and minimal on third floor. Garage was real bad, looked for standing water or dead fish and could find nothing. Called on Saturday morning and someone did come and change ac filters and sprayed which covered the odor but it never went away. Sunday it was very strong again, almost unbearable and we sprayed which helped some. Kids decided it smelled like rotten eggs checked propane tank had fuel and tank was off. This morning smell was gone and kids checked propane tank and it was empty. So we think the whole time the smell was leaking propane. I text company when we checked out and told them to check tank, hoses something was not right. It was horrible and so glad no one got sick. Someone else might have refused to stay but I’m pretty easy going and we tolerated it the best we could.

3-story house

This is a 3 story property with the main living on the 2nd floor. I wish I would have known prior, we took elderly family with us. The house had all the amenities: towels, coffee pot, laundry, plenty of beds. You can see the beach from floor 2&3. There is no direct beach access from this property, you must walk on the street. A golf cart was a great option (not included with rental). If you decide to take your car to the beach, you need a parking pass. When booking through Vrbo you cannot pay in full. The renting agency will reach out & you pay them directly. You are also required to bring a $500 check which they will “tear up” when you leave-I can’t confirm this yet. There is a swimming pool near the property. There is a large garage as well. If you bring your dog, there is an undeveloped area across the drive which was sufficient , there is not grass beside the property (property manager told us there was but it was all rock). Overall, it’s a super nice house in a great location. I would book here again, just not bring folks with knee problems (too many stairs for them).

Great condo!

This is a really good house for a large family. There is plenty of room for everyone, and a "bunk room" for kids. The kitchen is roomy, the appliances all work and the furniture is comfortable, and handled a family of 11 easily (8 adults and 3 kids). It was nice to have a garage, and a hose right outside the door to wash off with. Some of the mattresses were not the best, but no real complaints. We had a problem with the AC on the third floor, but the managers were EXTREMELY efficient in getting it fixed even on a Sunday morning, and the repairs were made within 30 minutes of when we reported the problem and it worked perfectly afterwards. So, amazing service is a part of the rental. You can see the ocean from the porches and the third floor has a really great view. The only downside is that we did not find a direct walking route to the beach from the condo, but it is only one block from the beach access road, so it takes less than 5 minutes to drive a cart to the beach. All in all, it is a good place to rent.
