Cabin Retreat in Forest Lakes ... 2 hours from the Valley

Welcome to our Retreat. Love fishing? Or disc golf? Or just relaxing in the tall pines? Forest Lakes is the highest elevation within a two hour drive of the Valley. There are 7 cold water lakes for recreation and fishing. The lakes are frequently stocked by Game and Fish. Woods Canyon Lake and Willow springs Lake are two of the most beautiful Lakes in Arizona. Our backyard features a 6 hole disc golf course complete with professional baskets and discs if you don't have your own set. Have fun playing horse shoes or just sitting on a swing. Plenty of room on our 1 acre to bring your corn hole boards or set up a badminton net. Enjoy peaceful views on our large wrap around deck with lots of seating. We have a spacious driveway with plenty of parking.

This home has a fully appointed kitchen and large dining room table to make meal time a pleasure. The gas furnace and central Air Conditioning system ensure a comfortable indoor environment year round. The cabin has four private bedrooms and delivers a perfect nights sleep for multiple families. This home has 4 comfortable King Beds and 1 Queen Bed plus 3 sofa beds and two chairs that convert into twin beds. The Living room has a comfortable sectional facing a 65 inch smart TV with Blu-ray player and streaming platforms. Wifi is available anywhere in the house.

For your convenience, this home has the following:
- A fully equipped and stocked kitchen
- A variety of board and card games
- A full washer and dryer
- High speed internet and 65 inch smart TV
- Central Air conditioning and heating

We will send directions to the cabin the day before your check-in and will send a key code for the front door shortly before your check in time. We will write you through VRBO/HomeAway messaging. If you will not have access to that messaging system please contact us well in advance to make other arrangements. We will always be available via text or telephone to answer any questions.

We supply freshly cleaned linens, bedding, and towels for our guests. We also supply a starter roll of paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent ,dish, dishwasher, and hand soap. We do supply shampoo, conditioner, or body wash. Although often there will be a variety of condiments, coffee, hot chocolate, etc., we cannot guarantee what will be available. The kitchen has a Keurig if you want to bring your favorite pods.

We try to provide everything that we would want in a Cabin. This includes all the comforts of home so that our guests experience a getaway in OUR PERSONAL VACATION HOME, not just staying in a vacation rental unit.

We enjoyed our stay. The home is beautiful. We will stay here again. The only issue was a long delay in getting hot water at the kitchen sink. Otherwise everything was perfect. This house is a kids paradise! We didn't have our grandchildren with us this time, but we will for sure bring them next time. They will love it!

This amazing property was perfect for our family trip w Nana & Papa, children and grandchildren for 9 total. Lots of room, the patio with those comfy swing chairs was a hit, the fire table was on the patio and we roasted marshmallows for smores. The dinning table had room for everyone and the kids loved the entire yard. Played frizbee, basketball, kicked a soccer ball, built a fort and on and on. We were able to park 3 trucks with trailers and unload a sxs from each. It was a little tight but workable. Beds were comfy. Will visit again!

Wonderful summer getaway

Our group stayed three nights and spent our days paddling the two nearby lakes and morning/evenings in the hammock chairs on the patio. An amazing home, wonderful hosts, and unforgettable memories made!

Location was perfect. Close proximity to our favorite lakes. The General store across the street had great selection of items. House looked and smelled very clean when we arrived. Lots of space and activities for the whole family. Driveway was very spacious and flat. Hosts were amazing and very responsive with any questions or concerns during and even before our stay. It easily fit 15 of us comfortably. Loved that there was so much for the kids to do outside as well as inside. The 2 bathrooms was a little bit of a challenge, but we made it work.

Girls weekend

Fantastic weekend!! We rented the cabin for a girls weekend, there were eight of us all between 50 and 60 yrs old we love to eat, drink and play games and being able to seat all of us at the dinning table and on the couch was so nice. The bedrooms and kitchen were great. Everyone is excited to rent again in the summer to enjoy the incredible outdoor space.Davis was the best he we went above and beyond to make our stay Perfect.

Cabin is located within 2 hours from Phoenix area and is perfect for a big family! Wish there was more cleaning supplies on the property. The shop nearby was closed so it was hard to find the basic items but apart from that great location and overall we had a good stay!

Thanksgiving Trip

My family and I truly cherished our stay. We spent a wonderful 5 days, including Thanksgiving Day, and having a full kitchen made all the difference. While we brought our own supplies, we appreciated that the host had a completely stocked kitchen, making our stay even more comfortable. One concern we often face when booking accommodations is finding suitable parking for our SXSs with a truck and trailer. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find enough space to park our 3 trucks and trailers, along with some additional vehicles. This experience was wonderful.

Sports and relaxation heaven!

My husband and I rented this cabin for a Christmas gift to our kids and grandkids. I loved it so much! The guys loved playing disk golf while the gals enjoyed swinging on the hammocks on the deck while the grandkids enjoyed the provided toys and books. We also enjoyed the pickleball court with a tournament. The house was nice and beds were comfortable. Great place!

Great time for teenagers!!

We have 3 teenagers and each brought a friend on the trip - all the kids had an amazing time! They played a lot of volleyball, went for ATV rides, and caught a fish at a nearby lake. The weather was beautiful, too! There was some difficulty checking-in (a VRBO issue - not the owner) and as soon as we reached out directly to the owner it was quickly resolved! Would definitely go again!

Lots of fun events for the kids, including outside swing, basketball court, fresbie golf, snowball maker, outside fireplace, great outdoor patio, and BBQ grill. Housekeeping could have cleaned better and not leave dirty dishes in the sink when we arrived. Make sure to bring your own paper towels, dishwasher pods for the dishwasher, and coffee maker filters.

Amazing cabin

Beautiful, spacious and clean. The owner was in communication throughout the stay for questions I had. We will definitely be going back in the summer to enjoy the outdoors. Has boardgames for the kids, enough blankets and beds. I would just take extra Paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags and laundry detergent. I highly recommend this cabin!!

Great Property

We loved the property and the amenities. The pickleball, the frisbee golf, the games...everything was wonderful. There were 16 of us, 10 kids and 6 adults. The only feedback I have is that there weren't quite enough towels for all of us. A minor inconvenience to an otherwise wonderful weekend.

My spouse and I met playing beach volleyball in Mexico in 2011. Ever since we have been doubles partners on and off the court. We have been blessed in all aspects of our lives and were able to purchase vacation properties in both Rocky Point Mexico and Forest Lakes AZ. We continue to enjoy these properties with our 3 children. But as our family continues to grow, Life has become more difficult to spend time away from home. Because of this we would like to share these retreats with others and hope that they enjoy what we have created for ourselves. We have taken up a new exciting hobby called Disc Golf. During the pandemic we found this a great way to stay active while outdoors. We have become passionate about sharing this sport with others so much so that we have built a FUN and Challenging Disc Golf Course on our property in Forest Lakes. When it is 115 degrees in Phoenix we escape for a quick getaway and an opportunity to play a competitive round with friends and family.
