Our stay at Kozy Chalet is exactly what we were looking for during our time away. Close to Jim Thorpe for a lovely day & perfect to relax on the deck and read. Kozy Chalet

We had such an amazing weekend at the property. Corrine and Ed were really responsive with communication!! They also included some welcome gifts for us (and our dogs) when we arrived to celebrate our anniversary, which was such a nice touch! The home is cozy with great new updates, but also reflecting some of the original charm of the house. A great blend. We canā€™t wait to go back.

Beautiful house!

Beautiful cottage in the Poconos! House was as described in listing-clean, cozy, and even had dog bowls if we had forgotten ours. I loved the patio and deck and we even saw a family of deer sleeping on the property when pulling our car in several nights after dinner! Also enjoyed not having to buy a lot of water as the property has a full-house water filtration system. The community amenities are also nice! Within 20 minutes of Jim Thorpe and Hickort Run State Park which has so many amazing hiking trails.

The chalet was outstanding. The communication with the property managers/owners, Corrine and Ed was fantastic. From securing the rental agreement to the check out day, Corrine and Ed were in constant contact to be certain our stay was all we hoped for. Their attention to detail was exceptional. HOME AWAY FROM HOME

The property owners did an amazing Job on their renovation decisions in this home, the kitchen has all the modern appliances, new cabinets subway tile back splash, furniture all very comfortable, bathrooms fully updated, zoned air conditioning and were available for any questions. BBQ was clean & worked great and had a back up propane tank. Looking forward to a return trip. Almost forgot the repurposed wood brought the old and new together wonderfully! 5 stars all day.

Memorial Weekend at the Kozy Chalet

We had a great stay at the Kozy Chalet over the 2022 Memorial Weekend. The house is warm and inviting and is located in a quiet community nestled in the woods. All the comforts of home including a modern kitchen and updated bathroom with a large rainfall shower. Both levels have large wraparound decks where we enjoyed morning coffee and an afternoon cocktail watching the deer roam about. Only a 5 minute drive down to the lake. Thoroughly enjoyed a visit to nearby town of Jim Thorpe which included a train-ride through Lehigh Gorge. Corinne was a fantastic host, very attentive and quick to respond to all questions.

Great Communication

From the moment I booked the property, the host was very communicative and answered all my questions. We ate in multiple nights and the house had everything we needed from pots, pans, silverware, etc.. Nothing beats drinking a cup of hot coffee in the morning while sitting on the porch overlooking the wilderness. My party had 5 adults and 3 kids, and had no issue sleeping, eating and playing in the house. Only minor drawback was the distance between the house and the trash site. But if you have gone camping at all, it is no big issue. Overall, I would stay again in the future.

MaJOR problem was water running load from water softner at 4 am. Very dark inside, lighting poor. NO TV in family rooms. Only in bedrooms.Master B R TV quit second nite used. Fire place poor. Yard full of branches and yard debris.
