It's the perfect center of city fun and nature adventure. 4600 sq ft 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. TV, Wifi, Ping pong table. Full kitchen with gas stove, oven and instant pot. Beautiful out door sitting area with fire pit. Even a tree house for kids. All beds come with cotton sheets and duvet cover.

Beautiful home! Host was incredibly responsive and helpful. The only suggestion we had was the WiFi connectivity. We were trying to play a movie in the evening and the movie kept cutting out because of the connection. I think adding another wireless router to the home would solve the issue, simply because the home is quite large. Other than that it was a lovely, warm and accommodating home. We had a great trip!

Great home

Awesome location close to Mt Rose. Large home with plenty of space for big families. Home was clean and great communication with the owner.

Beautiful house in a great location

Beautiful, large house that was perfect for our trip out to visit family and go skiing at Mount Rose. Kids loved the game room and the tree house. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of soft towels for everyone. My only minor issue is that the oven, and kitchen in general, is a bit small to cook for a large group (we had 6 adults and 4 kids). Also, the grill was not working during our stay, the owner did apologize for the inconvenience and committed to getting it fixed. Would definitely stay here again.

Unacceptable Conditions/ Not What VRBO photos Represent

The VRBO photos show a lush green backyard. When we arrived, it was just a field of dead weeds. The gated area on the upper level was just weeds, not grass. The path leading down to the basketball court had loose stones that were difficult to step on. Balls were deflated. The treehouse was inaccessible to kids because there was not an adequate ladder to get up through the hole in the bottom of the treehouse. We had to lift grandkids up into there & carry them down. Patio furniture was old and outdated.The Master Bedroom was missing the window covering which faced east. At 5 AM it was like midday in the room because there was no window covering.There were no additional paper towels/napkins available so we had to buy more.The biggest problem was the thermostat control for the upstairs bedrooms where my kids & granddaughters slept did not work because the batteries died. In addition, we had to replace batteries in all the TV & game controllers. We made a special trip miles away to the store at night to pick up batteries.Many of the windows were difficult to lock or didn’t lock at all!The nightstand light in the master bedroom didn’t work.A box under the bunkbed in my granddaughters bedroom had rat droppings in it.Bath faucet handles were loose on the sinksFor the amount of money we spent, we expected better conditions than what the VRBO photos & description portrayed. We should receive some sort of reimbursement for the actual mislead conditions of the property!
