Scerene Blue Ridge Mountain Cabin

  • 5 of 5

This is the second year in a row that we stayed at this cabin over labor day weekend! There was plenty of room in the cabin for our group to spread out and enjoy our time together. There are plenty of excellent outdoor activities in the area. This year we rode the Virginia Creeper Trail our first full day there. The weather was cold and rainy the second day, so we stayed in, played games, and enjoyed the cabin. The third day we went to church in Pembroke and then hiked Cascade Falls. I highly recommend this cabin for anyone seeking a mountain get away. Thank you again Sherman for accommodating our stay.

Perfect family Thanksgiving spot!

  • 5 of 5

This was a perfect meeting spot for my siblings and mom this year - everyone in our group loved the cabin and the land. This place is absolutely beautiful! The cabin is so well laid out giving our large group more than enough room. The master bedroom is such a treat with a beautiful claw foot tub and perfect for my mom to enjoy (she deserves it). I had the basement space with more than enough room for my family with 2 teenager boys and a dog- plus my husband loved the big TV down there to watch football. The outdoor space was beautiful and enjoyed by all - the adults, teenagers, toddlers and even the dog enjoyed the land and all the natural beauty. Our group rarely left the cabin as it is a perfect place to enjoy family time and each other’s company with simple fun like stories around the campfire, s’mores, and a family football game in the front yard. I’m so happy to stumble across this beautiful cabin for my family’s annual Thanksgiving gathering. Everyone in the group agreed this place is a treasure and we hope to return to share more family time in this beautiful setting. And thank you to the owner and property manager. They took great concern that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable, which it was!

Great get away spot for a large group or family outing!!!

  • 5 of 5

If you want to get away from it all, and you have a large group, this is the place! With deer, turkeys, horses, cows, etc roaming the property, this is a great place to relax and enjoy nature. The cabin is clean and well equipped. We are definitely planning a return trip.

Beautiful!

  • 5 of 5

We loved the property and the home was absolutely beautiful. The property management was very accommodating to our needs. Everything you need from blankets, to cooking utensils, to towels. Everything we needed was right there. There was plenty of sleeping space and lots of property for outdoor activity. We will definitively reserve again. Thanks Sherman and Charles for everything!

Outstanding Experience

My wife and I, and a group of friends stayed here for a weekend. Great location and a beautiful setting. House was spacious, clean and well maintained. Both Sherman and Charles (property manager) were more than helpful and reachable whenever needed.

The Cabin in the Blue Ridge provided us a great escape

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cabin in the Blue Ridge. We particularly enjoyed the fact that the Cabin was by itself on a large property and that our families could play, ride bikes, and explore the area without worry of anyone else being around. The amenities were great and allowed us to cook, play games, and socialize together as friends. There are many great things to do in the area. We rode the Virginia Creeper Trail, hiked to Cascade Falls, and spent some time at Hungry Mother State Park during our visit. There were plenty of beds for our group and the layout was clearly articulated and matched the actual layout. The listing description was accurate and the property was clean and well maintained. I have and will continue to recommend the Cabin in the Blue Ridge friends, relatives, and acquaintances who are visiting the area and would like a comfortable escape. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we look forward to visiting the Cabin again sometime!
