Gorgeous New Downtown Custom Home, Walk Everywhere, Pet Friendly, Kid Paradise!

Welcome home! Completed in June 2021, our custom modern farmhouse is filled with light, beauty, and comfort. Best of all, it is in the most desirable and walkable neighborhood in Charlottesville, just steps from downtown Belmont and the Downtown Mall.

We are also located 10 minutes from the University of Virginia, 25 minutes from the Charlottesville airport, and within 15-45 minutes of dozens of vineyards, breweries, Skyline Drive, and Shenandoah National Park.

THE SPACE

When you pull up to the house, you'll see a spacious wraparound porch with a deep, cushioned porch swing. Open the front door into our wide foyer, and take in the 10-foot ceilings and white oak floors.

To your left is our office, with a custom deep green bookcase and brass library lights. Cozy up in the deep chair with a good book during your stay!

To your right in the foyer, you'll find the guest bedroom with a queen bed, blackout shades, and an attached full bathroom.

Walk into the large living room with two couches and a chair. The gas fireplace is easy to operate with a remote control. Our floor-to-ceiling bookcase is filled with good reads, and the lower cabinets are stocked with board and card games. Behind the giant map in the bookcase, you'll find a 65-inch TV, where we welcome you to enjoy Netflix, Apple TV, and Disney+.

The dining room boasts a custom dining table that can expand to seat 14! The triple glass doors in the dining room overlook our backyard, where you'll see an expansive bluestone patio and toys for children, including a rope swing and sandbox.

To the left of the dining room is the heart of our home: the beautiful kitchen. Every detail of this space was lovingly planned out, from the walnut island and marble countertops to the Wolf range and farmhouse sink. You'll find the fridge stocked with breakfast items for you to enjoy and standard condiments.

On the main floor we also offer you access to our laundry room with a new LG washer and gas dryer.

Upstairs you'll find 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed, and the bathroom includes a cast iron soaking tub and walk-in shower. The other three bedrooms offer a double bed, three twin beds, another twin bed with a trundle bed, and plenty of space for queen air mattresses if needed. All bedrooms in the house have blackout shades for optimal sleep.

The third floor of our house is a huge, open finished attic filled with children's books and toys, and a memory foam queen mattress. We can also add a queen air mattress for additional guests! There is no bathroom on this level, and it is accessed through the master bedroom closet via a narrow, cleverly custom-built staircase.

GUEST ACCESS:

Our guests will have full access to the entire house, as well as the shaded backyard and spacious bluestone patio.

Ample street parking is available, usually right in front of our house.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:

When we stay in our house, we have our two cats with us. Before your arrival, our house is always professionally cleaned, but we like to make guests aware in case they may have allergies.
