The Redbud - A PMI Scenic City Vacation Rental

Amazing Location! The Redbud is a single level bungalow located within walking distance to the heart of St Elmo in Chattanooga. Professionally designed decor adds a comfortable feel to this completely updated historic home. At the base of Lookout Mtn, the Redbud is a short 5 minute walk to some great local eateries and The Incline Railway that will take you up the mountain to Point Park where you can experience majestic views and some of the history of Chattanooga. The Redbud has all the comforts you expect of a hotel but with the privacy of your own place. The front porch deck is perfect for enjoying a hot cup of coffee or tea before exploring the area. This property is perfect for singles, couples, families and business travelers. The Redbud is also only 5 minutes drive to Rock City and Ruby Falls.

PLEASE NOTE: Although we are DOG friendly, we do NOT allow cats. For dogs, we charge pet rent of $25/per night per pup. (THIS WILL COME AS A SEPARATE CHARGE AFTER BOOKING AND IS NOT AUTOMATICALLY INCLUDED WHEN YOU BOOK YOUR TRIP). If you have not disclosed that you will be bringing a pet in the booking process, please let us know. Although we are a pet friendly home, due to allergy issues of future renters we request that pets not be allowed on furniture (particularly in the bed). We also prefer pets be crated if left alone. Please pick up after your furry family member!

Please be advised, for stays 30 days or longer, we require a "mid-stay" clean approximately every 15 days. The reduced cost of these clean(s) will be added together if applicable and calculated according to length of your stay - THIS ADDITIONAL COST IS NOT CALCULATED IN THE LISTING PRICE WHEN YOU INITIALLY BOOK and is due upon booking. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. For this location, each clean will cost $105.

PMI Scenic City requires a rental agreement for all of our properties. Must be 21 or older to rent this property.

(For stays of 30 days or longer) A starting supply of consumable goods (paper towels, toilet paper, coffee) will be provided upon check-in. For extended stays, guests are responsible for purchasing consumable goods if they need more outside of what is initially provided.

Damage Fees If Applicable (ranges are based off item size and quality):

Towels: $4 - $38 per item
Bedding: $8 - $66 per item
Comforter: / Encasements $88 - $141 per item
Pillows: $27 per item

Furniture / Decor / Fixture: Charged to guest according to vendor repair invoice

Excessive clean fee: $50 - $200 depending on extent of work required

Smoking inside property: $200 per day of your stay

This was a very convenient location. We enjoyed Rock City all adorned with Fall colors our first evening and exploring Chattanooga other days. Walkable to little St. Elmo area with a lot of cafes, ice cream and food options. The house was very well suited for the 5 of us with ample space to enjoy meals, cook and just hang out together. Enjoyed coffee on the front porch. Really nice primary bedroom and spa like bathroom.

Excellent communication with host. The property was smack dab in the center of all we had planned. I would definitely rent this space again. There was a small issue of sugar ants on a counter in the kitchen, we contacted the property manager and they were willing to have cleaners come out immediately. We deferred this solution, so management refunded our cleaning fee.

The home was as advertised. Very well stocked, better than average furnishings and condition, and a great St Elmo location right next to all that Lookout Mountain offered. Our trip was a rain-soaked one but the house was great. Super responsive host too.

Great VRBO!

This place was perfect for two couples! We came for a weekend in Chattanooga and this a was a great place to stay. It was walking distance from the incline which we took up early morning and it was an easy drive to both Rock City and Ruby Falls. We loved the house - really well done and comfortable. Highly recommend this home!

We was more than pleased with the amount of time the owners put in to this place. We build and flip houses. Everything in it is top notch and a great location. Will definitely stay again if in town.

Great Stay

Our stay in this house was great. We had 3 adults and 3 kids under six years old. The two older kids slept easily on the trundle bed while our youngest slept in a pack in play in a cracked closet in the master bedroom. The house was really clean and stocked with everything we needed. Check in and out was also very easy. The location is perfect as it is a very short drive to downtown Chattanooga and right at the base of Lookout Mountain. It’s also very close to St Elmo’s where you can get ice cream, restaurants, or grocery store. Would definitely stay at again and recommend to others.
